Colorado Climate Week: March 30 - April 3, 2026, brings together leaders from across the state.

About us

The second annual Colorado Climate Week, March 30 - April 3, 2026, brings together leaders from across the state’s varying sectors to highlight innovation, resilience, and collaboration: the ingredients to sustainability. Next year’s event, supported by the Climate Week Network, a global platform powered by Climatebase, will showcase Colorado’s diverse and dynamic industries—from agri-tech and low-carbon fuels to energy generation, geothermal, wildfire resilience, responsible recreation, mining innovation, grid-safe data centers, and circular manufacturing—demonstrating how the state continues to lead in developing practical solutions for a sustainable future. “Colorado Climate Week celebrates the ingenuity and collaboration that define our state,” said Laura Hickernell, Executive Director of the Colorado Cleantech Foundation. “Colorado is home to one of the most diverse climate solutions ecosystems in the country, innovators are working together to tackle climate challenges in ways that drive economic growth and help communities thrive.” Register here: https://coclimateweek.com/

Updates

  • Colorado Climate Week isn’t just a single event — it’s a community effort. It’s a collaboration of independent events happening across the state, hosted by organizations, partners, and individuals all contributing to moving climate solutions forward. And that’s exactly what we saw last night in Boulder! From Nature x Solutions at Rayback Collective — bringing together leaders working across nature, climate, and technology — to the Women in Cleantech and Sustainability Meetup, creating space for connection and community across the industry. Different rooms, different conversations, same momentum. This is what Colorado Climate Week is all about. #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • We are still buzzing from the first three days of Colorado Climate Week! These past few days have brought incredible energy, conversations, and connection across the community. And it doesn’t stop here. Events are still happening across the state for the rest of the week — from panels to meetups to local gatherings continuing the conversations and momentum. If you’re looking to stay involved (or jump in), there’s more ahead! 🔗 Explore the full event calendar and see what’s next: https://lnkd.in/gYVXfqDp #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • Day 3 of Colorado Climate Week at the Limelight in Boulder is in full swing and we packed the room for this conversation! 💬 Capital Evolution: Rethinking Capitalism for a Climate-Driven Future In a candid fireside chat, Seth Levine and Wendy Lea explored what it means to build an economy where profit and planetary resilience aren’t in conflict. From the limits of short-term shareholder thinking to the rise of what Seth calls “Dynamic Capitalism,” the conversation challenged how we think about capital, entrepreneurship, and the role of business in the climate transition. And maybe most importantly — what it actually takes to move from intention to implementation. A big conversation, and a full room to match. #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • As we head into Day 3 in Boulder, conversations are happening across the state. Alongside programming at the Limelight Hotel tomorrow, the Grand Valley Climate & Innovation Showcase will take place at Colorado Mesa University from 1–6pm. This half-day event brings together the Western Slope community to spotlight the region’s growing role in Colorado’s clean energy and sustainability future — with sessions on agrivoltaics, geothermal systems, composting, circular economy development, and wildfire mitigation, plus campus tours and a networking reception. From students and educators to local innovators and community leaders, it’s a look at how climate solutions are taking shape across different parts of the state. Colorado Climate Week is about more than one place — it’s about connecting communities and ideas across Colorado. If you’re on the Western Slope, we hope you’ll join the conversation! 🔗 RSVP Here: https://luma.com/zvz8rkl9 #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • Momentum is building across Day 2! Senator Matthew Ball gave opening remarks for our “From Policy to Action: Colorado’s Model for Building Performance and Equity” panel — setting the tone for a conversation focused on real, on-the-ground implementation. Leaders from across Colorado shared how jurisdictions are working together to streamline compliance, reduce administrative burden, and expand access to resources that help building owners cut costs and improve performance — with a strong focus on equity and practical solutions that actually get deployed. Some other conversations from today: • Quantum: From Hype to High-Impact Applications • Connecting the Dots: How Capital, Data, and Market Demand Are Reshaping Agriculture • Geothermal's Moment: Is Colorado Ready? • Gathering for Good — Can Live Events Restore the Planet? • And many more! A full day of ideas turning into action — and we’re just getting started. #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • Day 2 is in full swing! We’ve already had a full lineup of thoughtful, engaging conversations across the day — and the energy hasn’t let up. Our lunch keynote from Phil Washington, CEO of Denver International Airport, ‘Above the Clouds: DEN’s Path to Net Zero’, gave a look at what it takes to decarbonize major infrastructure at scale. From there, conversations continued with panels like ‘When Hail Hits: Science, Technology, and the Growing Cost of Extreme Weather in Colorado’ and ‘Utilities at the Forefront: Climate Adaptation Solutions’ — tackling the real impacts of climate and how we respond. So many great questions, honest discussions, and ideas moving forward. More to come and we can’t wait for day 3 in Boulder! #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek

  • Bill Ritter, former Governor of Colorado, and Bryan Hannegan, President & CEO of Holy Cross Energy, took the stage today at Colorado Climate Week for a timely and grounded conversation on one of the most pressing challenges facing our region. 'Wildfires: A Crisis that Demands Coordination and Resources' brought into focus what it really takes to prepare for wildfire season in Colorado — not just response, but resilience, adaptation, and long-term coordination across communities, utilities, and leadership. From policy to on-the-ground action, the conversation made one thing clear: addressing wildfire risk isn’t the responsibility of any one group — it requires all of us. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important discussion. #COClimateWeek26 #ColoradoCleantech #ColoradoClimateWeek #Wildfires #WildfireResponse
