pH7 Technologies is pleased to announce support from the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program  (NRC IRAP), with up to $4 million in funding to advance our proprietary organo-electrochemical processing technology. As part of this, we are expanding our Vancouver facility to scale the recovery of platinum, palladium, and rhodium—strengthening North America’s supply of critical metals. This expansion will increase our capacity to recover high-value metals from complex materials while eliminating wastewater and reducing energy use and carbon emissions. “The Government of Canada supports the creation of competitive supply chains for critical minerals and value-added products, processes, and technologies. Investing in pH7 Technologies through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program will help Canada capitalize on the rising global demand for critical minerals, add value and jobs here at home, and reinforce our global leadership in responsible mineral development.” The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions As demand for platinum group metals continues to grow, building domestic, sustainable processing capacity is more important than ever. Another successful Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)! #PDAC2026 was a great opportunity for pH7 Technologies to connect with innovators, industry leaders, partners, and operators from across the #mining sector. This year brought more conversations, more connections, and growing interest in new approaches to Copper and gold recovery. Our CEO, Mohammad Doostmohammadi, spoke at BHP Invent, where he shared how collaboration and strong cross-industry partnerships are essential to accelerating technology adoption in mining. The room was full, and the discussion reinforced how innovation moves forward when industries work together. We were also proud to participate in the Wheaton Precious Metals Future of Mining Challenge, presenting pH7’s sulfide heap-leaching technology to the judges and audience as one of the finalists. Our process is designed to unlock higher recoveries from complex sulfide ores while advancing water stewardship and efficiency in #CriticalMetals production. Throughout the event, we met many operators and partners interested in learning more about how our technology can help increase recoveries, improve project economics, and unlock new value from sulfide deposits.
