Like any MMORPG or gacha game on the market, the communal aspect is a huge component to the experience. While you’ll be playing with other players and interacting with the various systems at play, the developers have to keep everyone happy, and a way a lot of them do that is by handing out treats from now and then.
Usually, these treats come in the form of the various currencies the games have to offer. In Where Winds Meet’s case, it’s the Echo Jades and Coins more than anything. While we still have to pay for Pearls to interact with the expensive cosmetics, these Echo Jades allow us to roll for other cosmetic treats in the Solemn Echo. But in order to do this, players will need to find the means of redeeming codes. Sadly, the redemption option is hidden within the menus, but thankfully we’re here to tell you where to find it.
How to Redeem Codes
The redemption option in Where Winds Meet is actually surprisingly well hidden in the menus. While other gacha games generally have something in the first menu you bring up by pressing escape, Where Winds Meet, it’s located within the settings.
First thing you do is bring up the main menu by pressing escape or the menu/options button on the controller. Head down to the settings selection on the right-hand side. Once you’re here, maneuver to the last tab, “Others.”
From here, under “Account Settings,” you will see two options: Exchange Code and Bind Account. The selection you’re looking for here is the former. While most games generally have it titled “Redeem Code” or something like that, it’s called “Exchange Code.”
Selecting this option will bring up an entry field for you to fill in with the various codes that we’ll be getting over time. At the current time, there are only a handful of codes to speak of at launch.
