The Tilapia is a Fish found in Stardew Valley.

A primarily vegetarian fish that prefers warm water.

Fish are a type of item you can catch via fishing or using special tools in various bodies of water across the Valley. They can be used in a variety of ways. You can complete bundles with them, sell them, consume them, give them as gifts, or even use them to create and color clothing items.

Where to Find the Tilapia

You can acquire this Fish at the The Beach and the Beach Farm, or Ginger Island West (Any Season), during Summer or Fall.

You can also find this for sale at the Traveling Cart and Krobus' Shop.

How to use the Tilapia

The Tilapia can be used in the following ways:

  • You can use this to complete the Ocean Fish bundle in the Community Center.
  • You can also use this to create a Sailor Shirt with the Sewing Machine .
  • Demetrius can request 10 of these on the Special Orders Board. You can earn gold for every fish (the normal selling price) and the Farm Computer recipe for completing this.
  • The Tilapia can be placed in a Fish pond, where it will reproduce and generate produce.
