The Solar Panel collects energy and produces 1x Battery Pack after seven sunny days. It must be placed outdoors to do so.

How to acquire the Solar Panel

In order to craft the Solar Panel you need to earn the recipe by completing Caroline's special order (Island Ingredients). You can then craft the Solar Panel with the following ingredients:

Special orders become available when a special orders board is installed in front of the Mayor's Manor. This can happen any time beginning Fall 2, Year 1. This board typically has large requests that would not be found on the normal help wanted board outside the shop.

After unlocking Ginger Island, Caroline will put a request on this board for 100 x one of the following over the next 28 days:

These crops/items must be harvested whilst the quest is active, so any of the above you may have will not count towards the completion of this quest.

As a reward, you receive Gold to the value of 50% of the given crop base price, and the recipe for the Solar Panel.

Unlocking Ginger Island

In order to unlock the Island, you'll need to complete every Community Center bundle or purchase a Jojamart membership and buy every upgrade from the warehouse. Once these are done, Willywill invite you to visit him in the back room of his Fish Shop. Here, you'll find a dock with a broken down boat that can take you to the island. However, you'll need to gather some materials to repair the boat. These are:

Take these items to Willyat his shop, and he will allow you to purchase a ticket to the island for 1000g.
