The Sandfish is a Fish found in Stardew Valley.

It tries to hide using camouflage.

Fish are a type of item you can catch via fishing or using special tools in various bodies of water across the Valley. They can be used in a variety of ways. You can complete bundles with them, sell them, consume them, give them as gifts, or even use them to create and color clothing items.

Where to Find the Sandfish

You can acquire this Fish at the Desert, during Any Season.

You can also find this for sale at the Traveling Cart, or by scavenging in the town's Garbage Cans (after unlocking the Desert). Just be sure not to let anyone except Linus see you searching!

How to use the Sandfish

The Sandfish can be used in the following ways:

  • You can use this to complete the Specialty Fishing Bundle in the Community Center.
  • This can be used to complete the following recipes:
  • You can also use this to create a Fish Shirt with the Sewing Machine , or as a Yellow dye using the Dye Pots at Emily and Haley's house.
  • Villagers can request this on the Notice Board for a reward of 225g and 150 Friendship Points.
  • This can also be used to complete Fish pond requests.
  • Willy can request 3 of these during the Desert Festival, for a reward of 25x Calico Egg .
  • The Sandfish can be placed in a Fish pond, where it will reproduce and generate produce.
