The Crab is a Fish found in Stardew Valley.

Fish are a type of item you can catch via fishing or using special tools in various bodies of water across the Valley. They can be used in a variety of ways. You can complete bundles with them, sell them, consume them, give them as gifts, or even use them to create and color clothing items.

Where to Find the Crab

You can acquire this Fish at the Fishing with a Crab Pot in a body of Saltwater, during Any Season.

These can also be dropped by Rock Crabs and Lava Crabs when defeated. In addition, you can purchase them at the Traveling Cart (randomly), or they are sold by Elliott at the Desert Fair for 30x Calico Egg. A pet Turtle with max friendship can also gift these to you.

How to use the Crab

The Crab can be used in the following ways:

  • You can use this to complete the Crab Pot Bundle in the Community Center.
  • This can be used to complete the following recipes:
  • You can also use this to create a Sailor Shirt with the Sewing Machine , or as a Red dye using the Dye Pots at Emily and Haley's house.
  • If you fill a Fish Pond with 10x Crab, Willy will gift you a Pearl when next spoken with.
  • Crab can be placed in a Fish pond, where it will reproduce and generate produce.
