How To Get The Gold Scarab
The Gold Scarab is a reward for defeating the
Cleanrot Knight (Sickle) & Cleanrot Knight (Spear) duo. The Cleanrot Knights are located inside the
Abandoned Cave, in central Caelid. You can find this cave by travelling east from the Smoldering Wall site of Grace. Eventually, you'll reach a cliff; the cave's entrance is on the other side. Jump towards the branches stuck to the wall to reach the entrance. The exact location of this cave can be found in the picture below:
Before exploring this cave, make sure you bring equipment to counter the Scarlet Rot and Poison buildup damage. Once you enter the cave and rest on the Site of Grace, get deeper to reach the first open area. Drop towards the hallway to the left, where a Scarlet Rot eruption covers the entrance. Move to the small piece of land in the middle of the room, then head left to find a narrower hallway. Cross it to find a small bifurcation; head right, stick to the wall and jump to land on an entrance to another hallway.
Once you land on the hallway's entrance, cross it and go to the right when you come across a bifurcation. Once you enter a new open area, stick to the wall to the right, continue forward, and jump to reach yet another hallway you must cross. This hallway leads to the boss battle arena. Defeat this duo to get the Gold Scarab.
