How to acquire Witherhoard
Witherhoard can be acquired through the Monument to Lost Lights, an exotic weapons vendor in the Tower. It will cost 100,000 Glimmer and 1x Ascendant Shard to purchase.
Upgrading the Witherhoard
The quest to find the Catalyst for the Witherhoard can be collected from Banshee-44 in the Tower when you have acquired the weapon. They will ask you to complete the following series of quests:
- High-Stakes Heist: Acquire 50x Vault Keys (they have a chance to drop from enemies that are killed with a Kinetic/Special Grenade Launcher.

Crime Spree: Complete the following:
- 100x Guardian Kills with a Grenade Launcher (During Eliminations).
- 200x Multikills with a Grenade Launcher.
- Acquire 300x Filthy Lucre - Can be acquired from Strikes, Nightfalls, Gambits, or Crucible.
- Clean Getaway: Return to Banshee-44.
Once activated, it provides:
- Perk : Silent Alarm - Provides bonus handling. Automatically reloads when holstered (after a short time)
