The Sickle of BOOOAL is a Rare quality melee weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3 that comes with a special enchantment known as BOOOAL’s Benediction. The enchantment grants the user Advantage on Attack Rolls against Bleeding targets.
Where to Get the Sickle of BOOOAL in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Sickle of BOOOAL can be obtained in The Festering Cove section of the Underdark. There are multiple ways of acquiring this weapon depending on your dialogue choices:
- If you anger the Kuo-toa and get into a fight with them, you’ll be able to loot the weapon from the body of their leader, Pooldripp the Zealous, once the cultists have been defeated. The weapon can also be pickpocketed from the NPC.
- If you anger BOOOAL by revealing his true identity, you’ll have the chance to fight the creature alone without having to worry about his followers. Certain classes, such as the Paladin, get access to unique dialogue that allows the player to convince the Kuo-toa to turn against their master. Defeat BOOOAL and you’ll get the option to purchase the weapon from Pooldripp the Zealous afterward.
- You can also get the sickle directly from BOOOAL himself without having to fight anyone. Convince BOOOAL that you want to become his ally instead of his enemy and he’ll give you the weapon as a sign of goodwill.
Notes:
The player must sacrifice one of their companions in order to gain BOOOAL’s Benediction.
BOOOAL’s Benediction will remain active on the weapon only as long as you keep at least one Kuo-toa alive.
The enchantment is removed from the weapon after a Long Rest. However, players can avoid losing the enchantment by storing the weapon in their camp before every Long Rest.
