Duellist's Prerogative is a +3 Rapier found in Baldur's Gate 3.

Where to Find the Duellist's Prerogative

The Duellist's Perogative can be earned for completing the quest Save Vanra in Act 3. This is only available if the quest Save Mayrina was completed in Act 1.

Duellist's Prerogative Features

The Duellist's Prerogative has the following features:

  • Flourish - Fient an attack and potentially inflict Off Balance.
  • Piercing Strike - Inflict +2 piercing damage, with the chance to inflict Gaping Wounds (does not affect Undead/Constructs)
  • Weakening Strike - Non lethal attack with the chance to inflict Weak Grip on an enemy.
  • Dueller's Enthusiasm - When you are not Dual Wielding, you can make an additional attack with this weapon.
  • Challenge to Duel - Challenge an enemy to attack only you, inflicts Bleeding on the enemy.
  • Elegant Duellist - While your off-hand is empty, you score a critical hit when rolling a 19, and gain an additional reaction per turn.
  • Withering Cut - When hitting with a melee weapon, you can use a reaction to deal additional Necrotic damage equal to your Proficiency bonus.
