The Drow Poison is a Uncommon Coating found in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Many drow cultivate poisons with religious fervour. After all, Lolth, their dread arachnid Goddess, is pleased by only the deadliest of concoctions.

Coatings are a type of equipment that can be applied to weapons to gain benefits, apply debuffs or even remove resistances. Some can also be thrown to create areas of effect that will apply the same or similar debuffs.

  • This item can be acquired from a variety of merchants and locations, and it is commonly found on Drow enemies. Additionally, it is possible to craft this item using the Alchemy system by combining the Essence of Swarming Toadstool with any type of Salt.

Drow Poison Abilities

The Drow Poison has the following uses:

  • When used, this item coats your weapon and applies the Coated in Basic Poison condition. When you then hit a target with the weapon in question, they must succeed on a DC13 Constitution Saving throw or become Poisoned and fall Asleep.
  • Throw this up to 18m/60ft to create a Drow Poison cloud, causing a possible debuff to anyone that walks through it.
