Darkvision is a Transmutation Level 2 found in Baldur's Gate 3.

Class and Race Restrictions

Darkvision can only be used by the following classes / subclasses:

  • Bard (College of Lore, Level 6 via Magical secrets, and Magical Secrets at Level 10 otherwise)
  • Fighter (Eldritch Knight)
  • Sorcerer
  • Rogue (Arcane Trickster)
  • Wizard
  • Druid
  • Ranger

Additional information about Darkvision

A Druid or Wizard must keep the spell prepared in order to avail of the buff when cast.

Removing it from their prepared list cancels the spell on any allies currently under the effects.
