Allow me to preface with this, I'm sorry if this isn't a BG3SE issue. I feel like its primarily an issue with my game/modding setup, but I believe the issue involves BG3SE to some capacity. Whether a setting i missed, file needing an edit, so on and so on.
So my friend and I have been spending the last few days trying to get our mods matching perfectly so we can play together. We're using the collection "QoL & Extras" and I'm on Linux(CachyOS) while he's on Windows 11. Since I'm on Linux I'm unable to use Vortex, instead I use Amethyst Mod Manager and run BG3MM with ProtonTricks through the BG3 prefix. Meanwhile my friend is using Vortex+BG3MM without any extra quirks/workarounds.
Little bit of background leading up to the issue we Amethyst and Vortex deploy the mods differently. Vortex will throw all of the mods into the correct folders(Data, Bin, Mods, etc etc) as each mod need. Amethyst seems to deploy almost all of them into the mods" folder of my game's Prefix location, only deploying the "Native Mods" folder correctly. Now, as for Script Extender. I use BG3MM's in-built tool to install Script Extender, and I make sure that in both Steam Properties for BG3 and in Preferences of BG3MM have the same Launch Argument.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="DWrite=n,b" %command% --skip-launcher --dx11
That is my current Launch argument, but I have done "DWrite.dll", "DWrite", and "dwrite". Regardless which of those 3 variations are used, when I load the game i see Script Extender v32 in the bottom left of the main menu.
Now where we encounter our problem. We're able to connect to a Multiplayer lobby together, but once we launch the game the host will load into the cutscene but the other person will get a very brief flash of black and hears the start of the cutscene. If I'm hosting my friend's game crashes to desktop, if I'm joining him I'll get stuck at 1fps chugging in the astral plane seemingly behind the character creation.

When going through his crash logs, he doesn't get an error code or anything, it just cuts off. My logs show nothing until I was feeling a little silly goofy and checked the network log. That's when I saw this warning message about different build configurations.
\Jenkins\workspace\Repo\FW4\Release\Stable\LSProjects\Apps\Gustav\Code\EoCServer\Server\JoiningProtocol.cpp 230 esv::JoiningProtocol::ProcessMsg]: Warning: connecting from different build configurations! Server: Gold | Client: Gold Extender_0
I'm lead to believe that this is showing that my game is running the server without Script Extender, aka Gold, while my friend is using Script Extender, Gold Extender_0.
If this is truly the case, is there a setting or file or something that i can change/edit in order to make sure that my game is using Script Extender for multiplayer?
