Storm Caller Skill Notes & Tips for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Unaffected by Powerful
. - Bonus instances of damage, such as those from dealing critical hits with Lightning Dance, Thunderfall or from firing Free Aim shots with Troubadim equipped, will NOT result in subsequent thunder strikes.
- Because of its limited duration (bound to enemy turns), extremely low damage multiplier and relatively high AP cost, this skill requires players to go out of their way to increase Lune's Speed, AP generation and damage to be of any practical use in Act II, even more so if they pretend to use it alongside Lightning Dance or Thunderfall.
- However, anyone able to reach or come close to the 9999 damage limit while meeting the Speed and AP requirements will be rewarded with double or more their total team DPS in Act II, due to the damage limit greatly favoring frequent attacks.
- Casting this skill allows for Lune to generate 2 stains (Lightning + Light) at once without dealing any damage, making it a good setup tool for boosting a first strike with Hell or Crippling Tsunami while it is further augmented by Augmented First Strike and First Offensive. Keep in mind that no damage should be dealt by any other character between the moment this skill is cast and when Lune unleashes her upgraded, Pictos-boosted strike.
- Can be used to effectively double the rate at which enemy Shields
are depleted. - Ineffective as a damage source in Act III due to an unconditionally low damage multiplier.
