The "Sources" section begins "Hamlet-like legends are so widely found (for example in Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Byzantium, and Arabia) that the core "hero-as-fool" theme is possibly Indo-European in origin." which doesn't seem to follow. Are the "so" and the "that" meant to be there? If so what is the argument that is being made? Can it be recast without this problem? Anyone have access to the source?
