The past weeks gave me the opportunity to look back and realize how fortunate I’ve been. Fortunate for the trust CAE, my leaders, colleagues, and customers have given me, the exciting (and sometimes crazy!) projects we’ve accomplished together, and above all, the extraordinary people with whom I’ve had the pleasure to share this journey. As I close this incredible chapter, I want to say a heartfelt thank you. Thank you to the leaders who believed in me, giving me critical responsibilities while supporting my desire to make things better, every step of the way. Thank you to my colleagues who supported and inspired me during this journey—whether we were doing the impossible to provide the best support for our customers, or supporting my own personal growth and transition at CAE. Thank you to the customers who trusted my leadership to support their day-to-day operations, and with whom I have built incredible professional and personal relationships. And especially, thank you to those I had the privilege to lead: you taught me as much—if not more—than I ever taught you. Seeing each of you grow and surpass your own expectations has been the greatest reward of my career. I leave with mixed emotions: sadness, because you can’t walk away from such a journey without feeling it, but also great excitement for what lies ahead. Growth sometimes means having the courage to embrace new challenges, even when you deeply love where you are. Looking forward to discovering what the next chapter will bring, please don’t hesitate to reach out or connect as new adventures begin!

Pour lancer cette nouvelle année universitaire, je me suis encore une fois prêté au jeu de notre équipe des communications à FSA ULaval. Cette fois, on m’a demandé de laisser les vacances derrière moi et de retrouver mon rôle de doyen… en accéléré! Une façon légère de souligner un moment de l’année que j’apprécie particulièrement : celui où les corridors reprennent vie, où de nouvelles personnes arrivent à FSA ULaval et où notre communauté se retrouve. Bonne rentrée à toute la communauté étudiante, aux membres du personnel et du corps enseignant! Je vous souhaite une année remplie de projets, de rencontres et, je l’espère, de quelques occasions de sortir du cadre. Au plaisir de vous croiser à FSA ULaval! Frederic Pare liked thisFrederic Pare liked thisC’était une idée un peu folle. Et on a déjà hâte de recommencer en 2027!! Le défi était quand même gros. Accueillir les meilleurs joueurs de tennis de la planète dans notre nouveau de Centre de tennis Synex Assurance - Université Laval, qu’on vient à peine d’inaugurer il y a quelques semaines. Et c’est là que la force de toute une communauté a fait la différence. Un comité organisateur soudé, mené par Julie Dionne et Jean-Sébastien Lavoie. Plus de 300 bénévoles et ramasseurs de balles. Des partenaires précieux qui ont cru en nous dès le début. Et des amateurs passionnés qui répondent présent en grand nombre. Le résultat? Une première édition du Challenger Banque Nationale du Canada de Québec présenté par Cromwell Management Inc tout simplement historique. On parle de cinq séances à guichets fermés. Près de 11 000 spectateurs. Des jeunes et des moins jeunes qui tombent en amour avec le tennis et nos installations. Merci, gens de Québec, d’avoir fait de cet événement un succès. On recommence à travailler sur l’édition 2027 dès maintenant. Il a fallu 50 ans pour retrouver les meilleurs joueurs au monde à Québec, on espère être là pour les 50 prochaines années ❤️ Merci, Ville de Québec, Fasken, Labatt Breweries of Canada, Hilton Québec, Montellier, Tennis Canada, Cosmos Traiteur, PATTISON Outdoor, Yonex, Enseignes ESM

Thank you to Rotman faculty Walid Hejazi and Zissis Poulos and to all fellow participants. The conversations I feel were the best part of it! Leaders across different industries and from around the world sharing perspectives on what works well and what gets in the way. Adoption, trust, and knowing where judgment belongs came up in almost every one, and nowhere more than in wealth management. Plenty of opportunity and challenge ahead, and a number of exciting initiatives under way at IG Wealth Management.

Frederic Pare liked thisFrederic Pare liked thisUn 1er Challenger couronné de succès 🎾 La 1ère édition du Challenger Banque Nationale de Québec s’est conclue sur une note des plus positives à l’Université Laval, avec plus de 10 500 spectatrices et spectateurs présents au cours de la compétition. Cinq des 11 séances ont affiché complet, alors que le Français Luca Van Assche a remporté le titre en finale face au Grec Stefanos Sakellaridis. Présenté dans les nouvelles installations du Centre de tennis Synex Assurance-Université Laval, le tournoi a permis au public québécois de renouer avec le tennis professionnel de haut niveau et de voir à l’œuvre plusieurs des meilleurs joueurs du circuit ATP Challenger. Cette 1ère édition a également été rendue possible grâce à la mobilisation de quelque 300 bénévoles, de 42 ramasseuses et ramasseurs de balles et d’une vingtaine de membres du comité organisateur. Un 1er rendez-vous réussi qui témoigne de la capacité de l’Université Laval à accueillir des événements sportifs d’envergure et qui ouvre déjà la voie à la préparation de l’édition 2027. Une belle vitrine pour le talent sportif, les nouvelles infrastructures et le dynamisme du campus. 👏 https://lnkd.in/gWmK7-Je
