Bridgewater State University is implementing a 25-year roadmap to modernize aging infrastructure and meet Massachusetts’ 2050 net-zero goals. Working alongside BSU and the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, STV helped develop a long-term plan that includes geothermal energy, modern heating and cooling systems, energy efficiency improvements and greater campus resilience.

We welcomed students from Vanguard High School to our Empire State Building office for a hands-on structural engineering challenge: https://lnkd.in/gBacZeEq Students designed, built and tested towers against real-world criteria like height, load capacity and simulated earthquakes. Hosted alongside the Salvadori Center and NCSEA, the experience gave them a chance to put engineering principles into action.
