I tried out the paid upgrade ($9.99 a month) based on the representation that you could use it to find people at your destination when you travel, BUT it appears there is no practical way to do this. Even if you turn office location sharing in Settings, you cannot manually insert the location of a different city, it reverts to the original location. As an example, if someone is in Kansas City and is going to Chicago for a weekend, while planning your trip in KC, there is no way to contact anybody in Chicago. I ASSUME once you get to Chicago and share location the app will change location to Chicago. This is very impractical and reduces your chance to find an activity partner. Let’s say you arrive at Chicago hotel at 9 pm on Friday and start using app to find someone to go on an architectural boat tour at 10 am on Saturday. Highly doubtful you will with such last minute communication.There are probably a dozen people with 50 miles of my location. I would assume there are many more in Chicagoland. I will probably cancel paid upgrade after 30 days given inability to search other locations and few folks in my immediate area.Overall, like the app and service and would recommend it to anybody in an area with dense population (NYC, Chicago, LA, Dallas, etc).

Absolutely believe in this App—finally someone has recognized older adults need friends too!These founders are on top of it. I love what they have created & the fact that they are so committed & accessible.My husband & I have connected with other couples for Mahjong, walks & conversations. We also just used Wyzr Ride for a quick trip to Trader Joe’s—great idea!

I can see this being a fun way to meet friends but one been on it for one hour and have encountered several annoyances already. There aren’t enough ways to explain who you are, what you like, what you want. Your are limited in interest choices, and the bio box is too short. You then get friend requests from people all over the country, mostly men, even if you put a closer radius and only want to make female friends. How many ways can I demonstrate I’m married without some guy 2000 miles away hitting me up for “friends”? If I wanted a dating app I would sign up for one. It’s a waste of time and makes me feel uncomfortable. And the song at the beginning of the app is unnecessary. Having the words merrily scroll across the page would be better than feeling like you are tuning into Golden Girls over and over. Or just the music, no vocals. I know this just launched and I hope the developers read these comments.
Not good at all
Not a wise decision
This website appears to be only a data collection source. As the people in it the majority are from California. Not sure why you have to submit your identification when it appear as though there are members under 40 on the app. The app also is like all other apps with a poor selection of people and many appear unstable and are unable to effectively communicate. I’ve had to block two people already and it’s been two weeks. I could only hope to give it a better shot to prove that it is a good site to meet new likeminded, people in my area.
This update introduces two tailored in-app experiences:
