As students, we understand it can be a struggle with getting the most out of our academics and fully experiencing that college experience. This is why we brought together this online community especially during the pandemic students have felt even more disconnected from their school and their peers.
We want to help change that! With the help of students and school faculty giving us feedback throughout this process, we know this would be a big help for students and getting that sense of community back.
Our biggest winning factor is the control to PERSONALIZE the amount and type of notifications students receive.
We know we aren’t the only ones who receive multiple emails, messages, or even information on something completely unrelated to our major, career, or even interests. Even so, we might miss something important or that aligns with our interests because we expect it’s just another email.
That’s why we are going to help improve the college experience by helping students stay on top of both their academic life as well as making the most of their college experience through social events and so much more!
You can find others based on your expected graduation year, major(s), and based on groups you join or create which others can find, and with common interests find others to socialize with virtually and in person!
With filtering out what you want to see and don’t want, your feed is uniquely made to your liking! All while still having the ability to search groups if you haven’t joined or are just curious to explore and even find others to interact with.

I have been using buzly for about 3 months now and I don’t regret downloading it! It is a very interactive and friendly app to connect with other students from campus. It is a great way to make friends and see what people are up to. I have made friends through this app and now we all make memories together and meet on campus! If you have not gotten the app, you should! Although the app needs some updates so it is not as slow and glitchy, but other than that I like the app a lot!

I think this app is one of the best parts about going to sac state. Buzly makes it incredibly easy for me to communicate with my peers. I’ve connected with so many great people through this app and so many of my queries have been answered by them! This totally makes an anxious student like me more stress free. I would highly recommend downloading this app!!!!!

The app concept is nice. It does need some touching such as when trying to edit the major, I couldn’t seem to find the place to do so. Secondly, when moving to a different area on the app it lagged a bit. Other than that the app is really enjoyable to use. Not to too difficult to understand.
