Nice But Could Be Better

I downloaded this app over a year ago. Initially it was fun and great to play. However, to advance levels, obtain Peanuts character cards, and obtain different items in the game’s market costs a lot of money. It’s all about money now! It’s so sad. This app could be a really great app, but no one wants to play an app where they have to spend money constantly, or watch ads all the time to advance in the game. It feels like I will never get past level 37. All the items in the market, the characters and their houses, none of it seems attainable at how much they cost. And unfortunately the blue inventory backpack fills up very quickly, so items have to be obtained, which costs money, to finally get the characters to play out scenes in locations, in order to win the item required to get more space in the inventory backpack.The only thing I really like that makes me want to open the app is the A Dog’s Coffee House theme that’s going on right now. I do love it! It’s cute and fun to play. I wish there were an option where we could select one of the seasonal themes to apply to the setting of the game’s appearance because I would select the Dog Coffee House theme all year round. Unfortunately the items of this theme, such as the barista and waiter/waitress seasonal character cards are all very expensive.

The animation & visuals on this game are great! It tugs at my childhood so I keep coming back. However, there are a few issues that I wish were addressed so that game play lasted a bit longer. First, it would be nice if this game was playable in areas where there is no WiFi available-if the internet goes down your game is not playable. Also, it would be nice to have the option of having something like GameCenter back up our hard-earned progress for all of us out there that aren’t into Facebook- why not have both? I agree with other players that access to gaining Snoopy money is difficult and slow and sometimes the quests are excessively long- unless you pay. Maybe, a suggestion, reward your loyal players’ playtime by having special build-in-stages quests and then at its completion that can reward a Snoopy buck every few days thereafter? Or maybe create mini-games within the game to spice things up and award sought after prizes. Sometimes I feel that play time is probably equal to playing the video ads to accumulate Snoopy money and I don’t go very far. I don’t mind doing ads so much but even that gets old after a while. Maybe create a mini-game of chance after watching an ad where you create the chance to win 1 or multiple Snoopy bucks or an item that usually takes a while to get so there is something exciting to do after the ad? Games that have beloved characters such the Peanuts gang allow people, such as myself, to be able to turn to them at different events in their life(pregnancy bed rest, surgery recovery, playtime with toddlers, etc). If nothing else for pure soul comforting! I love what you have and I patiently look forward to growing with you all- so please keep up the updates! We appreciate you all!

I enjoy the game a lot but I too have issues with the glitches and cannot log into the game at times missing my missions that I was working so hard for. Everything is timed and makes you spend lots of time on the game which is fine but not okay when you get kicked out. Their response is good at getting back with me but that’s it, nothing more. I try my best to earn the dollars working at the game. The Christmas event is going on and now they set it up where you Have to spend real money in order to get the character Rerun and to be able to play the scene. I realized that days after working so hard to get the work done. Not cool! I have spent real money in the past on this game and I’m beginning to be very unhappy now. Love the characters and missions even though it’s timed. However, I may be walking away soon if I have to spend real money in order to get a character. UPDATE: It has been 3 yrs of playing and spending money to get the characters. I enjoyed the game because it helped with my memory. It was getting to the point of every 10-15 mins that I had to play to get anywhere in the game, especially when they made the new bumper car scene. I’m exhausted and will be deleting the game. If you want to pass by idle time, great and if not, not worth it.

This game should come with a warning to back it up daily so you can restore it when it crashes (which is frequently). It has some major flaws. First, once you've built the town and acquired all the characters, it is boring. There are not enough scenarios to keep it interesting. Second, it is incredibly hard to obtain enough beagle bucks (dollar bills) to purchase the items needed to accomplish scenarios, unless you pay real money to buy them. To add insult to injury, the action boxes are set up in such a way that it is far too easy to spend those hard-gained dollars accidentally. Many users have asked the game developers to add in a confirmation for such actions, and the developers have said they are working on it, but that has not been provided despite numerous updates since I've been playing the game (about 9 months now). UPDATE: I tried this game again after a long hiatus. After a week, the game would not open after showing the Pixowl logo and would bump me back to my home screen. I couldn’t play the game, and after 3 days of trying to get help from customer support, I was told that if I had a backup of the game they *might* be able to restore it fairly close to the level of achievements I had attained; if not, I would have to delete the game and reinstall it, back at the beginning! I love the concept and the graphics, but this game is a huge disappointment and I cannot recommend this game to anyone—and I’m a major Snoopy fan.
