I will now play the game to conclusion and will change anything if I am wrong Such a strange place to try to be diverse and inclusive but Got to say having a native American help my poise at the start of the game gave me a chuckle, I’ve beardy scratch of the game and maybe this takes place in the multiverse because well here let paste the following historical text and you come to you own conclusions. Indians of many separate tribes who spoke different languages considered the land where the Oregon/California trails ran through their home. Sioux, Shoshone, Kiowa, Crow, Ute, Paiute, were some of the various tribes that an emigrant train might encounter. Many of the depredations done by Shoshone Indians were on the stretch between Soda Springs/Ft. Hall and Snake River where it runs through what is now southern Idaho.Shoshone were the dominant tribe along the trail within the area in and around The National Oregon-California Trail Center, from Thomas Fork Crossing to Soda Springs. No record or any attacks or altercations against western travelers by the Shoshone have been documented along this section of the trail.So not very helpful to there invading enemy’s

I enjoy the tasks that are set, I enjoyed picking the team and trying to get the right balance of characters. What I enjoyed the most was the constant checking of the wagon to make sure you had enough supplies to get through each stage. I’m going to try and complete the extra mini games called journeys and have a crack at the harder difficulty setting for the main trail. Also good the game includes representation from the indigenous population of America as this is often overlooked.

Love most things about the game the random events , the hard choices you have to make , the visuals, it’s a great game to pass the time , especially if you’re like me and have been signed off work, this game has helped me enjoy my time despite my pain, my only gripe with this game is money earning money is far to difficult you really should be able to trade to a shop , and I think a good balanced way to do this is give the shop keeper a visible amount of money so you can only earn x amount of a shopkeeper. That way even if you buy stuff , then sell stuff you can still only earn x amount of the shopkeeper. But still really good game overall almost great but just needs a better money system.

I’ve take my time to write a review because it deserves one .you have a party and have to keep them alive on their journey by trading things hunting and fishing .You have to cross rivers etc along the way it can be quite challenging though depending on general game iq .keep your head wagon fixed up keep all the party nice and healthy they can get sick and you can’t treat everything the game throws at you with medicine , not come across any ads yet I always base downloads on reviews I literally see the word ad once your game isn’t getting downloaded to my phone so that’s great news . Enjoy

Play Your Way
FULL-ON PARTY CUSTOMIZATION
• Precisely customize your party each time you start a new Journey or Contract.
• This option is available for most of the Journeys, but not all of them.
• Determine the number of characters for the party setup, and select their classes, traits, appearance and names.
TRAIT SELECTION
• Play smart when choosing them! A range of traits will be available for every character, of which you can choose up to two.
• Traits can have a positive or negative effect on the character.
• Your party will be provided with a set number of points.
• Choosing positive traits will cost you points, while choosing negative traits will grant you additional points.
• Some traits can negate each other, for example athletic/frail. In such cases, you can choose only one of them.
FOOD PRIORITIZATION
• Consume what you need. You can now see a checkmark above the stack of food that will be consumed next by the party.
• The option to prioritize the next food that the party will consume will be added when the food item is selected.

WAGON DAMAGE REWORK
• Items stored in Exposed Wagon Slots will no longer be depleted during bad weather. Rain, snow, or dust will damage all Exposed Slots.

BALANCE UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS
• Fish and Animal Collection: The Collection system in this Journal expansion will provide an exclusive new place for you to see all the animals and fish you've collected!
• UI Improvements: A completely reworked main menu makes it easier to find new content and help finish objectives on the trail! We've also added updates to improve the UI in various areas, including game stats and party drafting, so it's easier to see your character choices, and know what classes, traits and special items do.
• River Crossing Improvements: Crossings have been completely rebalanced to improve your ability to traverse rivers safely. The new River Crossing outcome screen will help you understand what went wrong, what went well, and tell you about any items you lost and injuries you may have acquired along the way!
• Wagon Grease Improvements: New effects and timers have been added to wagon grease so you'll always know how long you have left on your wagon grease bonus!

EXCITING NEW QUESTS to play along the Oregon Trail! These Quests can be played in "The Oregon Trail", "The Nature Trail", and "Oregon or Bust" Journeys! You can also now track Quests in the Guidebook.
• The Ballad of Lewis Southworth: Lewis is on a mission - he wants to perform with his fiddle, but first needs your help to put together a band.
• Hold Your Piece: A mysterious, wandering sharpshooter with a thirst for revenge challenges you to tests of marksmanship and gunplay. Can you change his fate?
• The Peoria Party: The "Oregon Dragoons" from Peoria have split up; reunite the 10 missing Dragoons and send them on their way to Oregon!
BALANCE UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS to various areas of the game, including:
• Tutorial Update: Many changes to the tutorial to help support new players and to remove roadblocks from seasoned players who want to get straight into the game. Changes have been made to the text, a skip-tutorial option has been added, and easier game modes have been showcased for players earlier.
• New Achievements: 12 new achievements to obtain!
• Guidebook Extension: The Guidebook has been expanded to accommodate the new features and content that has been added to the game.
• Game Balancing: Event spawning, river crossings, events, items and unlocks have all received balancing passes.
• New Events: To further improve replayability, we are creating new events to keep the experience on the trail fun and engaging for longer sessions.
MANY (200+!!!) BUG FIXES and quality-of-life improvements, including:
• Performance improvements (texture loading, asset loading, FPS improvements, controller performance)
• Localisation updates and fixes (concatenated strings, grammar updates, better translations)
• Resolved various issues that could cause the game to crash
