For one of the Summer Festival Playlist challenges in Forza Horizon 6, you'll need to find and complete the Airfield Takeoff Danger Sign event with an A-Class car with a performance index of 700 or lower. Also, the car needs to be from a Japanese brand — and no, Hyundai doesn't fall into the category, so don't make the mistake I did and try using one. Turns out that it's a South Korean brand! I'm not a car guy, OK!?

Anyway, we'll show you where to find the Airfield Takeoff event and one of the best cars to complete the challenge and earn some stars. As a reward for clearing this event, you'll get a free Wheelspin and two points towards the seasonal rewards.

Getting through the Summer Season goals in Forza Horizon 6 will eventually reward you with two cars: the Altezza RS200 Z Edition 1999 Toyota, and the Lancer Evolution IX MR 2006 Mitsubishi.

Where is the Airfield Takeoff Danger Sign Event?

You can find the Airfield Takeoff Danger Sign event in the Ito region. These events require you to drive your car as fast as possible and launch it off a ramp, aiming to get as much air as possible. Having a vehicle with a strong Launch stat is key to getting three stars.

To complete the Festival Playlist version of this challenge, you need to use a Japan-manufactured A-Class car with a performance index of 700 or lower. Some of the more well-known Japanese companies are Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Nissan, just to name a few. If you're not sure whether a car is Japanese, a quick Google search can help you out!

Which Car to Use for the Airfield Takeoff Danger Sign?

If you've completed some of the other challenges as part of the Festival Playlist, then you might already own the 2022 Toyota GR86. Buying it as part of the Gazoo Racer series of challenges, and it's the car that helped me complete this mission. However, I did have to find a custom player tuning that had a really high Launch stat.

To find a custom tuning job, go to a garage and open the Upgrades and Tuning section. From there, click on Find Tuning Jobs. We managed to find a GR86 in the A-Class with a 700 performance score with a Launch stat of 9.7. It came from a player named 'HOULAI820.' You don't need to find this exact tune-up preset, and you don't even need to use this exact car, but it helped us!

Once you have a solid Japanese car with the right setup, go to the Airfield Takeoff Danger Sign area and start as far back as you can. If you head directly north of the ramp, you can even find a hill off the side of the road that you can start on to help get some extra speed.

With the setup we had with the GR86, we got a score of 756.91 ft once we landed on the Drag Strip below the Danger Sign.
