Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 features a showdown between Team Foundation and Team Ice King. Players must pick one of the two teams to work for, and this decision will be irreversible.

Should You Pick Team Foundation or Team Ice King in Fortnite?
We recommend joining up with Team Foundation, as they provide a better loot pool if they win, and they also provide the Frost-Ready Foundation outfit to all Battle Pass owners at the end of the season.
However, picking your team is entirely up to you. Regardless of what team wins, you'll still earn the rewards, even if it's from your opposing side.
While you can't change your decision, it's always best to go with your favorite. If you like the heroes and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, then pick Team Foundation! But, if you like a side of villainy, pick Team Ice King!
What Happens if You Join Team Foundation?
If Team Foundation wins, all players with the Battle Pass will earn the Frost-Ready Foundation outfit at the end of the season. As Team Foundation, you can also unlock the following items in the loot pool when playing Rivalries:
- Seven Power Gloves
- Seven Cluster Cannon
- The Foundation's Rift Rifle
- Golden Fishing Spots
- Seven Compound Vault Key
What Happens if You Join Team Ice King?
If Team Ice King wins, all players with the Battle Pass will earn the Exalted Frost Ice King outfit at the end of the season. As Team Ice King, you can also unlock the following items in the loot pool when playing Rivalries
- Ice Gauntlets
- Slapperoni Pizza
- Dark Voyager Drones
- Enhanced Harpoon Gun
- Ice King's Vault Key
How to Help Your Team Win in Fortnite Showdown
In order to progress through your team's reward track to add new items to the loot pool and increase their odds of winning the battle at the end of the season, you will need to win rivalries in Battle Royale.
Rivalries can be started in Battle Royale by finding the station on the map marked with two swords. Upon interacting with the board, you can ask about a rivalry, which will reveal the general location of you and your targeted player, where the winner will earn Rivalry Points.
