How to Join the Fortnite Showdown Global Leader Challenge
Gamers can join the Fortnite Showdown Global Leaderboard Challenge picking a team the first time that they boot Fortnite this season. After this, they have to visit the official Showdown Challenge webpage and log in with their account to register for the event. This is crucial, as it is here that players can check out their place in the leaderboard and their quest progress.
Players must choose between Team Foundation and Team Ice King. In order to be able to record their stats, players need to a pick a team; otherwise, their progress will not be taken into account.
Fortnite Showdown Global Leader Challenge Rewards
The Global Leader Challenge gives fans the opportunity to obtain in-game and real world rewards. To get in-game rewards, players have to complete the weekly quests. However, if they want to get the physical prizes, they need to take on a more competitive stance, as it requires them to be at the top of the leaderboards at the end of the week. Real world rewards will be given to those who are able to win the most rivalries each week.

Players will receive the Original Rivalry spray simply for registering for the event online. After this, they will have to complete quests as they come out weekly to receive more freebies.

The first weekly challenge became available on Thursday, March 19, when Chapter 7 Season 2 launched. Quests will continue to release each Thursday at 7 AM ET. In total, there will be four quests for gamers to complete, and they will remain available until April 16, 2026.
Physical Rewards
Physical rewards will be granted to players who win the most rivalries each week. Each rivalry victory is worth 1 Point, and if there is a time, the winner will be based on number of victory royales, eliminations, average placement, and average time alive.
Each week the Top 5 players on the global leaderboard will receive the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics card. At the end of the challenge, the Top 20 players will receive a PlayStation 5; the Top 100 players of each team will get Team Foundation or Team Ice King apparel - based on their choice; and the Top 500 players of each team will receive a custom Fortnite keychain.
