The very first LEGO set based on Dragon Ball Z may have just leaked online. According to some recent rumors, the first Dragon Ball Z LEGO set will be based on Shenron, the franchise's magical dragon mascot.

Serving as a direct sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball Z first aired in Japan in 1989, and then aired in the United States in 1996. As any fan will know, Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Goku and sees the rise of his son, Gohan, with the duo and their respective allies facing off against an assortment of otherworldly threats over the course of the series' almost 300 episodes. While Dragon Ball Z came to an end after its ninth season, it was succeeded by a handful of shows in the 1990s, 2010s, and 2020s, including Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and the more recent Dragon Ball Daima. Of course, Dragon Ball Z has also served as the primary inspiration for a wealth of video game adaptations, with the most recent being Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

An Entire Wave of LEGO Dragon Ball Z Sets Could Be Coming in 2027

A few days ago, Brick Tap posted its own LEGO Dragon Ball Z leaks. In its own post, Brick Tap claimed that a LEGO Icons Shenron set with the set number 11390 is slated for a November 2026 release, that it will retail for $150–200, and that it will contain minifigures. Brick Tap's report also claimed that a full LEGO Dragon Ball Z wave is coming in 2027. This wave will reportedly focus primarily on early Dragon Ball Z, and that there are "lots of new molds" for the minifigures included in the rumored wave. It's unclear what the subjects of these sets could be, how many sets will be included in this first LEGO Dragon Ball Z wave, or how much they'll cost.

Six Other LEGO Sets Were Included in the Leak

This Shenron LEGO set is just one of seven leaked LEGO products featured in Brick Built Blog's most recent video. Brick Built Blog's video also lists the full lineup of LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 30, which includes a Venetian Gondolier, a Sea Monster, and a Child Knight, among nine others.
