To complete Dress Up with a Punk Cut task in DDV, open the wardrobe menu and change your hairstyle to punk cut to take a picture. Unlike furniture where you need to place something down and make sure it appears in photos, the punk cut is a hairstyle. So, your avatar wearing the hair is enough for the routine duty to be considered completed.
Completing the Dress Up with a Punk Cut task rewards 25 Tokens in the Pop City Star Path, which is a decent amount if you're planning on redeeming the Tokens for something expensive that costs 75 Tokens, for example. Since it's a routine duty, you might have to complete the previous tasks before unlocking this one. That's because only premium users can scroll between routine duties without completing them in order.
How To Get The Punk Cut In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The punk cut is a hairstyle that can be obtained from vault rewards after completing the third set of routine duties in DDV. Since premium users can pick and choose which routine duties to complete, you might have to do nine tasks in total to unlock the hairstyle.
If you claim the vault rewards and the hairstyle is not rewarded, that's because you already have it. This is not the first time a punk cut has appeared in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In a previous Star Path called The Night Show, the punk cut was a premium reward that cost 15 Tokens.
So, if you go to the vault rewards and get a chest instead, try checking the hairstyles you own as it's probably there. Same as before, wear the hairstyle and take a picture to complete the Dress Up with a Punk Cut routine duty during the Pop City Star Path in DDV.
