That's not going to happen. (You don't owe Joker anything.) |
Sure. That seems fair. (Joker causes a distraction, but you'll owe him a favor if he ever gets out of Arkham.) |
|
Stop the Fight or Use the Phone |
[Stop the fighting] (Bruce is injured saving people from Zsasz, and Alfred helps Bruce leave Arkham.) |
[Use the Phone] (Bruce manages to call Alfred to help him, but Zsasz kills someone.) |
|
Pay Off the Enforcer or Ram the Barricade |
[Ram the Barricade] (Bruce's reputation further tanks in the public's eye.) |
[Pay off the Enforcer] (Bruce loses some money, but gets to go home safely.) |
|
Go As Batman or Bruce |
[Go as Batman] (Batman fails to intimidate Harvey, but rescues Gordon.) |
[Go as Bruce] (Bruce fails to reason with Harvey and is sent to be executed, but is saved by Gordon.) |
|
Go to Wayne Manor or Wayne Enterprises |
[Go to Wayne Manor] (Batman stops Wayne Manor from burning down, and Harvey is arrested, but he loses his tech to Oswald Cobblepot.) |
[Go to Wayne Enterprises] (Batman stops Oswald Cobblepot for good and gets his tech back, but his home burns down.) |
|
Send Harvey to Prison or Arkham (Wayne Manor ending only) |
Put him in Prison. (Harvey rots in prison as a criminal.) |
Send him to Arkham. (Harvey gets the mental help he needs.) |
Should You Accept Joker's Favor?
- You're never getting out. | That's not going to happen. | Sure. That seems fair.
Not much is known about Joker, and so it's hard to get a read on him and what his favor could entail. Regardless, Bruce is desperate and needs help to find a way to call Alfred so that he can get out of Arkham, and so that Batman can get back on the streets to take out the Children of Arkham.
I accepted Joker's favor, as Bruce is desperate, and despite the untrustworthy and unhinged nature of this inmate, Bruce would most likely assume he's not getting out anytime soon. Besides, owing someone a favor doesn't mean you have to do it if it's dangerous and against your morals.
49.5% of players agreed to owe Joker a favor if he's released from Arkham (which is the closest 50/50 we've seen yet!)
Should You Stop the Fight or Use the Phone?
- [Stop the fighting] | [Use the Phone]
It seems that Joker is far more unhinged than his grin would give off, and he's attacked Victor Zsasz, a patient at Arkham Asylum who needs to scar a tally mark into his skin with every kill. Doe's distraction involves riling Zsasz up enough to kill, providing Bruce with an opportunity to reach the phone while the guards are trying to subdue Zsasz.
I decided to stop the fight, as there is no situation where Bruce would sacrifice a life, especially not an innocent one, just to get what he needs. Joker's distraction is dangerous, and Bruce would sacrifice the phone call that could free him if it meant saving someone.
Even if you don't take the phone call, you still get released from Arkham Asylum. This decision (although the right one) puts you in the minority with 31.2% of other players!
Should You Pay Off the Enforcer or Ram the Barricade?
- [Ram the Barricade] | [Pay Off the Enforcer]
Mayor Harvey Dent has hired enforcers, a division to regulate the streets that has greater power than the GCPD. However, with that power comes corruption. These enforcers are demanding Bruce pay them off to get past the barricade, or he can ram through and cause even more damage to his reputation with civilians watching.
I made the choice to pay off the enforcer, as it's not like Bruce is strapped for cash. It's frustrating having to give out a bribe, but the alternative involves Bruce and Alfred ramming through law enforcement barricades while citizens watch and record it, which further tanks Bruce's reputation.
51.2% of players paid off the enforcers instead of ramming the barricade!
Should You Go As Batman or Bruce to Visit Harvey Dent?
- [Go as Batman] | [Go as Bruce]
Harvey Dent is going down a dark path, and his latest move as the mayor involves seizing the Wayne Estate for its finances due to Thomas Wayne's connections to crime. This move is personal against Bruce Wayne, and involves stripping him of everything: his home, his funds, and his life.
I went as Batman to visit Harvey, as Harvey's relationship with Bruce is far too fractured and unstable for an honest conversation. Harvey is doing this out of his growing hatred for Bruce, so maybe Batman can reason with him, or at least intimidate him. Plus, going as Bruce against a corrupt mayor and his armed enforcers is a deadly move.
56.1% of players also intimidated Harvey as Batman instead of risking his wrath as Bruce.
Should You Go to Wayne Manor or Wayne Enterprises?
- [Go to Wayne Enterprises] | [Go to Wayne Manor]
Despite Batman or Bruce visiting Harvey, he's not budging, and he's on his way to Wayne Manor with his enforcers, potentially putting Alfred, the Batcave, and Bruce's home at risk. Yet at the same time, Oswald Cobblepot has what he needs to hack Batman's tech, rendering him just a man in a batsuit. Batman can only be in one place at once...
I chose Wayne Manor. Alfred and Bruce's home is far more important than tech, and Cobblepot won't discover Batman's secret if Bruce shuts it down in the Batcave. Plus, Harvey Dent is becoming more unhinged, so he needs to be stopped now before he descends into the abyss even further.
This decision will impact the opening scene of Episode 5. Going to Wayne Enterprises will give Batman his tech back, but Wayne Manor burns down, and Alfred has to hide in the Batcave. Stopping Harvey was a decision made by 45.6% of players!
Should You Send Harvey to Prison or Arkham?
- Put him in Prison. | Send him to Arkham.
This is a choice to make only if you went to Wayne Manor. A direct confrontation with Harvey Dent shows how he's unfit to be mayor and shows how much help he needs. After all, what kind of mayor brings an explosive slug shotgun to his friend's house? This is why Gordon asks if they should send Harvey to Blackgate or Arkham Asylum.
I sent Harvey to Arkham Asylum. While Harvey's actions as mayor may have gotten people killed, it wouldn't be a fair trial since he's not a sane man. Harvey Dent needs extreme mental help for his personality disorder, so curing him at Arkham should be the only path forward.
