A new figure of Anzu Mazaki (or Téa Gardner, as English-speaking audiences may know her) is now available for preorder, and fans of Yu-Gi-Oh won't want to miss out on this oversized addition to their collection. While multiple anime spin-offs have been released over the years, 2000's Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters remains a fan-favorite, with its protagonist, Yugi Muto, remaining the mascot of the franchise decades after he was first introduced. Téa is Yugi's childhood friend, and while she isn't the best at games, she is the cheerleader of the friend group, always on the sidelines and ready to give moral support when needed.
Within the manga industry, Kazuki Takahashi achieved legendary status following Yu-Gi-Oh's 1996 serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump, with the series becoming a global juggernaut boasting an estimated $5.42 billion in lifetime revenue at the time of writing. However, the late creator is often remembered beyond the scope of his works, with many citing his personal character as an inspiration in its own right. In 2022, Takahashi passed away off the coast of Nago, Okinawa, while bravely attempting to save three swimmers caught in a treacherous rip current.

New Téa Gardner Figure Stands a Whopping 9” in Height, Preorders Live Now
As part of Kotobukiya's more affordable Oshi Works line, fans can now order this stunning new Téa figure, which stands at a whopping 230mm (approximately 9 inches) in height, including the base. For a price of ¥8,800 (around $55), fans will get both the figure and a detailed magnetic stand, which includes the character's name and the classic Yu-Gi-Oh logo. While Téa appears in many unique outfits throughout the series, this release features her Domino High School uniform, and those who preorder can expect to receive their shipment sometime in November 2026. Oshi Works will also be releasing an Ishizu Ishtar figure in August, as well as Mai Valentine and Buster Blader figures this month.
As Takahashi's original Yu-Gi-Oh manga series is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, several events and special releases are planned. Fans who will be in Tokyo this winter won't want to miss the "Kazuki Takahashi Original Art Exhibition: YU-GI-OH! ART WORKS" event, which will see many of the late artist's sketches on display for the first time. A commemorative music video was also released last month, with some of the most iconic moments from the manga set to "Overlap," the fifth opening song of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime adaptation.
For those who dabble in Duel Monsters themselves, 2025 saw the highly anticipated PC and Nintendo Switch release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, a compilation of 14 past titles in the franchise released between 1998 and 2004. Several of these games were localized and released outside of Japan for the first time, including Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule for the Game Boy Color and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 for the Game Boy Advance. Several titles also include online multiplayer.
