All Chapter 4: Settled Valley Smiley Flowers in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book

In a nut near Bunchabee

• Head to the right and jump up the platforms until you reach a tree with a nut and Bunchabee.
• Throw an egg at the nut to knock it down, then lure the Bunchabee to crack the nut.
• Ground Pound the cracked nut to break it and get the Smiley Flower.
  • Don't hold Loopdeecoop because it will knock the Bunchabee away.

Hidden in a stack of boxes

• Go to the left of the Bunchabee and nut tree until you reach a platform with stacked boxes.
• Break the boxes with eggs until you get the Smiley Flower.

After collecting the Blue Coins

• Head up the platforms until you reach Floofly on the left side of the map.
• Jump on the highest Floofly, then Flutter Jump all the way to the right to reach the top of the stage.
• Grab the spiked hoop and give it to a Loopdeecoop.
• Head back up until you see rocks blocking a path on the tree. The spiked Loopdeecoop will break them.
• Grab some eggs and Ground Pound the Switch to start the Blue Coin Challenge.
• Throw eggs at the Loopdeecoop to have it collect some Blue coins, then jump up to collect the rest yourself.
• If you collect all the Blue Coins in time, the Smiley Flower appears.

In an underground cave with water

• Go back to the bottom floor with the spiked Loopdeecoop and break the rocks next to the ditch.
• Head inside to find a cave with water and a dry Smiley Flower.
• Use the spiked Loopdeecoop to bounce the water falling down until it reaches the Smiley Flower.
  • Stand underneath the waterfall, then follow the bouncing water to keep bouncing it to the Smiley Flower.

In a hollow tree

• Go through the level until you reach the hollow tree on the water path.
• Either bounce on the Croakaoke that goes by, or grab a Detonut and toss it up to get the Smiley Flower.

Near an underground waterfall

• Head right on the water path until you reach the cave area.
• Keep going right and past the small waterfall to the area below.
• Use a Detonut to blow up all the rocks to reach the Smiley Flower at the bottom of the waterfall.

Under leaves in a hidden cave

• Keep going along the stage until you reach Floofly.
• Go to the right of the Floofly to reach a hidden cave.
• Use the Detonut in the water to blow up the leaves in the cave. Inside is the Smiley Flower.

Above a house

• Grab Shy Guy and jump up the platforms on the left of the map until you reach the highest house.
• Jump on the house, then toss Shy Guy into the air to get the Smiley Flower.

Hidden in an underground waterway

• Head right at the bottom of the stage until you reach a rope that goes down into a well.
• Go down, then right to go through the tunnel.
• Jump up as you go through the tunnel until you reach the small compartment with the Smiley Flower.

In a hidden cave inside a box

• Grab a Shy Guy, then head to the left side of the map.
• Give the pitchfork to a Shy Guy. This lets him break rocks.
• Head to the right side of the map until you see a rock at the top.
• Break the rock and head inside, then keep going until you reach a hidden area with boxes.
• Break the bottom-right box for the Smiley Flower.

Near Note Fruits

• Head to the right side of the stage until you reach a small area with a dry Smiley Flower and Note Fruits.
• Shoot watermelon seeds at the Watermelon Bugya until its shell breaks, then lure it to possess a Note Fruit.
• Lure the Note Fruit Bugya's shots at the dry Smiley Flower until it is revived.

In a blue fish

• Head to the far right of the stage until you reach water.
• Eat a watermelon so you can spit seeds.
• Shoot at the blue fish until you hit it to get the Smiley Flower.

Hidden in a nut

• Head up and to the left of the stage until you see a Hard Seed.
  • It looks like a flower with a brown object inside.

• Grab the seed, then keep going up until you see Bugya around a large nut.
• Shoot watermelon seeds to break one of the Bugya shells, then throw the Hard Seed at it to make the Bugya possess the Hard Seed.
• Lure the Bugya at the Hard Nut to break it to get the Smiley Flower.

On a ledge above water

• Grab a Little Mouser and head inside the cave.
• Head up until you see a Nep-Enut in a crack.
• Throw the Little Mouser at the crack so it can grab the Nep-Enut.
• Take the Nep-Enut from the Little Mouser, then head to the top-right of the cave until you reach water.
• Throw the Nep-Enut into the water.
• Repeat to get another Nep-Enut and combine them until you can reach the above the water.
• Head up to get the Smiley Flower.

In a crack underground

• Grab a Little Mouser and go to the bottom of the cave until you find a crack going down.
• Crouch to let the Little Mouser off above the crack, and it will go down to grab the Smiley Flower.

In a hidden cave

• Grab a Little Mouser and head to the very top of the cave, to the left of the water area.
• Jump and toss the Little Mouse in the opening in the ceiling until it grabs a Hard Seed.
• Eat the Hard Seed, then go down until you see a rock.
• Spit the Hard Seed at the rock to break it.
• Go inside to get the Smiley Flower.

High in the cave

• Grab a Little Mouser and go to the top of the cave.
• Go left until you see Little Mousers playing catch with a Smiley Flower.
• Throw Little Mouser up at them to take the Smiley Flower.

Dried on the cave floor

• Gran a Nep-Enut, then go to the bottom of the cave.
  • If you already combined them all, then throw an egg at the big Nep-Enut to break off a small one.

• Go until you see the dry Smiley Flower on the ground, then throw Nep-Enut at it to revive it.

Dried up in a pot in a hidden room

• Head right when in the cave until you reach a Croakaoke.
• Go to the top right area above Croakaoke, then crouch to enter a hidden room.

There are two ways to get this Smiley Flower:

• Take a Nep-Enut into the small room, then throw it on the Smiley Flower to revive it.
• You can also take the pot out of the room, then head left until you reach dripping water in the cave.
  • Stand under the water to revive the Smiley Flower. This also helps make more Discoveries.

In a large nut

• Ride Hauger through the stage until you see a large nut in a tree.
• Break the nut with Hauger to get the Smiley Flower.

In the air above a twisted tree

• Ride Hauger until you see sand on the side of the wall.
• Dig into the sand with Hauger, then go right until you emerge in the air near a tree.
• Jump off Hauger while high in the air, then Flutter Jump to the left to get the Smiley Flower.

In a statue on a vine

• Go to the left of the second Smiley Flower Location and use Hauger to reach the vine on the platform.
• Run up the vine and use Hauger to break the statue for the Smiley Flower.

In an underground cave

• Ride Hauger until you see sand in the ground.
• Dig until you reach the bottom with water.
• Use Hauger to dig into the sand in the wall to get the Smiley Flower.

In the air near the end

• Ride Hauger until you near the end of the stage, before the Bowser Jr. and Kamek boss fight.
• Jump off the high ledge, and you'll see the Smiley Flower floating in the air to the right.
