All Flower Locations in Chapter 3 of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book

Butterflies near the starting area

• Carry a Conch-wielding Weewoo to the grassy area near the beginning of the stage.
• Move around to have the Weewoo play music to hit every butterfly.
• Follow the butterflies to the left, and a "?" cloud will appear.
• Throw an egg at the cloud to make the Smiley Flower appear.
  • You can swallow a Crazee Dayzee in the grassy area for an egg.

Above the giant dancing flower

• Make Weewoo play music to the sleeping bud near the beginning until it is fully grown.
• Play music to the little yellow bird nearby.
• Follow the bird and keep playing music until the Smiley Flower appears above the dancing flower.

On a ledge, near the second dancing flower

• Keep going until you reach the second sleeping sapling.
• Play music with Weewoo until it fully blooms.
• Jump on the ledge to the left to find a wilted Smiley Flower.
• Play music with Weewoo until the Smiley Flower revives.

In a cave, near a dancing flower

• Go until you reach the sleeping sapling near the water at the end of the stage.
• Play music to wake it up, then head to the middle platforms.
• There is a hidden cave to the left, just underneath the top floor.

In a treasure chest above the ship

• Go to the top of the ship where there is an egg-spitting plant.
• Throw eggs to bounce off the pole until you hit the Ouchin and free the Smiley Flower.

In the water below the ship

• Go to the far right of the stage and swallow a watermelon.
• Go back inside the ship and Ground Pound in the gap of water to reach the right side.
• Shoot watermelon seeds at the Smiley Flower below to collect it.

In the sky above the ship

• Grab eggs, then go to the top right of the ship near the Crazee Dayzee trapped in a box.
• Throw an egg at the "?" cloud to reveal the Smiley Flower.
  • There are two "?" clouds. The one on the left reveals a rope to go back down.

In the muddy water near the beginning

• Grab Casterway and head to the left of the stage until you reach a muddy pool of water.
• Fish until you pull up the Smiley Flower.

In the water, near the swordfish

• Go to the water right next to the muddy pool on the left of the stage.
• Fish up the purple fish trapped in the rocks to lower the water.
• Go to the right until you see the Smiley Flower moving at the bottom of the lake.
• Fish until you can grab the Smiley Flower.

In a shell near an underwater cave

• Go to where you free the purple fish stuck in the rocks. There is a hidden cave to the left.
• Follow the cave left until you see a shell in the water near a Casterway.
• Fish until you can grab the Smiley Flower inside the shell.

In a "?" cloud

• Go until you see a Croakaoke.
• Use Casterway to pull Croakaoke down, then bounce on it to reach the ledge above.
• Pull Croakaoke back up once on the ledge to reach the very top.
• Go until you see the apple held by another Casterway.
• Eat the apple to have it pull Yoshi up to the top.
• Use Casterway to hit the "?" cloud and reveal the Smiley Flower.

Inside a shell underwater

• Grab Bafloonder at the beginning of the stage, then go left underwater immediately.
• Break the box in the wall, then go left into the hidden cave.
• Swim into the shell to get the Smiley Flower.

In a small sunken ship

• Go deeper down from where you get the first Smiley Flower until you see a small sunken ship.
• Break the boxes to reach the Smiley Flower.

Behind a closing underwater cave

• Go underwater in the same area as the previous two Smiley Flowers.
• Swim right until you see an area that keeps opening and closing.
• Swim through to the other side without getting squished to reach the Smiley Flower.

Above a waterfall

• Swim to the left of the stage until you see a waterfall on a ledge.
• Dash out of the water to reach the ledge, then dash up the waterfall to reach the Smiley Flower.

Behind a trail of Ouchin

• Swim to the left side of the stage and down until you see a trail of Ouchin.
• Time your swimming to reach the Smiley Flower without hitting the Ouchin.

Hidden under coral

• Swim to the left until you see the underwater volcano.
• Swim about halfway down, then quickly dash up towards the surface.
• Dash out of the water to get high enough to reach the platform to the right.
• Jump to have Bafloonder eat a Hot Pepper. It will grow spikes.
• Swim to the right at the bottom until you see some coral.
• Break the coral, then swim underneath to the hidden cave.
• A fish carries the Smiley Flower, but swims away and hides if you get close.
• Dash quickly to get the Smiley Flower before it gets away.

Above the first ship wreck

• Ride the Snurfboard until you reach the first shipwreck.
• The Smiley Flower is above the second piece, the one with the mast.

In a treasure chest near the big shipwreck

• Go until you see the large ship wreck at the end of the stage.
• Spin Jump on the Snurfboard to dive into the water and open the chest.

In air, above the ocean

• Go back to the right between the large shipwreck and the broken pieces with the first Smiley Flower.
• The Smiley Flower will be high in the air. Ride the waves and jump to reach it

On land, above trees

• Head back to the right of the stage near the beginning.
• Use the waves to reach the tree platforms, then jump off the Snurfboard.
• Use normal Yoshi jumps and Flutter Jumps to reach the final area to the right.
• The Smiley Flower is above the puddle of water.

Hidden in a hole at the beginning

• Head right until you reach a bunch of boxes in the water.
• Use Nep-Enut to raise the boxes high enough to reach the nearby platform.
• Grab eggs from the platform, then head back left until you reach the platform with the small pond in the middle.
• Go to the pond, then throw an egg straight above through the opening to collect the Smiley Flower.

Above a shipwreck

• Continue through the stage until you reach a shipwreck.
• Climb Nep-Enut to jump on the shipwreck boxes to reach the Smiley Flower.

Above a muddy Nep-Enut

• Go through the stage until you reach the bottom of the large waterfall.
• Go left into the hidden cave behind the waterfall.
• Throw eggs to break apart the Nep-Enuts inside.
• Throw each small Nep-Enut into the muddy water to the left until it reveals the Smiley Flower.

At the end, on a rocky wall

• Make sure Nep-Enut is as large as it can be, then head past where you fight Bowser Jr.
• Move Nep-Enut so it touches the dry Smiley Flower to revive it.
