Anecdotes are unique in-game experiences where you can learn more about the lives of the people in a given area and gain plenty of insight or knowledge as such. Sometimes, you can eavesdrop on conversations not meant for your ears, but the information can be beneficial in some capacity, as detailed in this guide for Where Winds Meet.

Where to Find All Steed's Pass Anecdotes in Where Winds Meet

Steed's Pass is one of the new subareas in Liangzhou, the latter of which can be unlocked after completing the Path in Paint story quest. Once you've visited the local Wayfarer to get the Liangzhou Town map, you can begin exploring what treasures and information are there to find, like Anecdotes, for example.

There are ten Anecdotes to locate throughout Steed's Pass, and unlocking all the Boundary Stone teleport points can be of great help while seeking these Anecdotes. Additionally, some Anecdotes may require completing a task or two, which we'll specify along with their found locations below:

Anecdote:

How To Find:

In-game Location:

Disappeared Jade Carver

From the Crystal Stone Boundary Stone teleport, head slightly north to find a group of people congregating by the workshop entrance, and speaking to a family maid will help you learn more about this jade workshop to complete this Anecdote.

Jade-Gathering Hero

Not far from the "Disappeared Jade Carver" Anecdote location, enter the workshop grounds and go upstairs before looking to your right to locate two women drawing water from a well. You can eavesdrop on a conversation at the nearby house, since this only occurs at night, and changing the hours to nighttime (Chou) will help complete this Anecdote.

Guiyi Army's Order

While on the workshop grounds, from the previous location, you can spot two apprentice NPCs beside some shelving who are having a conversation about the Luminous Cups from the last Anecdote that you can listen in on to obtain it.

Jade Road

A few steps away from the previous Anecdote, eavesdrop on a conversation between two more NPCs, a merchant and an apprentice, by a table about the Jade Carving Workshop's reopening and the Guiyi Army's presence, to obtain this Anecdote.

Jade Carver

After listening in on the two NPCs in the "Jade Road" Anecdote, take the stairs to your right, where you can find some people nearby and approach the open door to eavesdrop on a secret between sibling jade carvers to acquire this Anecdote.

Jade Carving Techniques

Head inside the house from the "Jade Carver" Anecdote and turn right into a room where you can speak to Fan Zao before exiting the home to speak to the two apprentice NPCs outside. Change the in-game time to Zi hours before looking for the house next door, and speak to Lu Li near an open window on the right side of the house to complete the Anecdote.

Starting back at the Crystal Stone Boundary Stone, head south by the pier and search for an NPC, Yi Weichun, before listening to her conversation and responding accordingly to acquire this Anecdote.

Drunk for Three Nights

From the Crystal Stone Boundary Stone teleport once more, follow the path heading west, and look for three individuals standing around a person who appears to have passed out. After inquiring about the situation, followed by a retelling of the events before your arrival, you'll be able to record this encounter.
