Vampire Crawlers has an exciting gameplay loop that is easy to get sucked into. However, after completing enough dungeons, players might feel like they want to speed things up - especially if they've already beaten the game or are grinding stages for more coins.
Vampire Crawlers Combat UI, Explained
When players first start playing Vampire Crawlers, they may have a hard time understanding the UI, and this guide explains it all.
This guide tells players what they need to know about getting through stages faster in Vampire Crawlers, and it also explains what the Hurry button on the World Map means, so players can understand it before they choose whether they want to enable it or not.
How to Speed Up Gameplay in Vampire Crawlers
Players can get through enemy fight animations, thus allowing them to complete stages faster, by unlocking the Sorceress' Tears relic. The Sorceress' Tears relic requires players to unlock the Gallo Tower and reach F5 of the dungeon, as it is on this floor that it is hidden.
Once they've grabbed it, the next time that they visit the World Map to select a stage, they will have the option to toggle Hurry mode on and off.
How Does the Hurry Mode Work in Vampire Crawlers?
Hurry mode makes it so animations are much faster in battle. Therefore, the enemy and the player's attacks are distributed faster, allowing them to get through battles in no time.
This is great for players who want to grind coins and finish stages within minutes. Players also don't have to worry about leveling up in Hurry mode, as XP gain is not hindered, but it is not boosted either - no stats are altered in Hurry mode.
Another way to finish stages faster is to activate the Bomba Infernale relic (unlocked in Dairy Plant), which allows players to instantly vaporize all enemies on the first floor of a dungeon that they have already cleared before.
