34 Highest Paying Careers In The Sims 4, Ranked
Tons of careers exist in The Sims 4, some of which are quite lucrative. These jobs are the highest-paying careers in the game.
The Royalty and Legacy expansion pack for The Sims 4 added two new services: the Tutor and the Upgrade Technician. The Tutor is exclusive to dynasties with some Prestige, so not all Sims will have access to it, but that is not the case with the Upgrade Technician. This guide will tell players what they need to know about the Upgrade Technician in The Sims 4.
How to Hire an Upgrade Technician in The Sims 4
Players can get an Upgrade Technician in The Sims 4 by picking up their phone, selecting the Home App, followed by Hire a Service; then, all they need to do is select the Upgrade Technician option. An Upgrade Technician costs 1,200 Simoleons plus an additional charge of 95 Simoleons per hour.
When gamers select this service, they can expect the technician to arrive 15 minutes after their call. Upgrade Technicians work until 9 PM, so if players request the service after this hour, they will only arrive the following day at 7:05 PM.
What Does the Upgrade Technician Do in The Sims 4?
When an Upgrade Technician arrives at the household, they will ask the family what they should focus on:
- Electronics
- Furniture
- Kitchen
- Plumbing
If they're not interested in upgrading any particular type of appliance in their home, they can select the last option: "No Preference," in which case, the technician will pick a random upgradable appliance and start working on it.
Once an Upgrade Technician has finished working on a household item, it will have three new upgrades, chosen at random.
