Axum Bacterial Culture is one of the rarest materials you can get in Subnautica 2. You can find Axum Bacterial Culture only in one place, the green swamps/pool/pond/lake location, at the end of the Alien Ruins area. First, you need to upgrade your Tadpole to dive deeper in Subnautica 2. Here's everything you need to know to find and get Axum Bacterial Culture in Subnautica 2.
Angel Comb Puzzle Guide In Subnautica 2
You must heal the Angel Comb in Subnautica 2 before you can claim the alien adaptation.
How To Get Axum Bacterial Culture In Subnautica 2
You get Axum Bacterial Culture by visiting the swamps behind the Alien Ruins Angel Comb in Subnautica 2. To reach that area, start from the Alien Ruins location and move east to the Angel Comb next to it. If you can't find the Alien Ruins, you can track the location by accessing the Signals' menu from the inventory tab. You can also track the Angel Comb to know exactly where you're going.
After reaching the Angel Comb, switch your direction to the northeast, and you should be able to reach the green pond area at the end of that trip.
There, you can find multiple small lakes with several monsters around them. You can also find rare resources like Troilite in Subnautica 2.
There's also a Leviathan guarding the area above the lakes. So, stay near the ground and do not enter the swamp area with your Tadpole. If you do, it'll alert the Collector Leviathan, and it'll attack you.
Now that you have made it to the swamps and know what kind of danger there is, it's time to get Axum Bacterial Culture in Subnautica 2. To get Axum Bacterial Culture, approach one of the lakes and search for an orb that appears to be sinking inside the pool.
You need to break the orb in order to get the Axum Bacterial Culture out of it. You don't need a special tool to do so, as you can just press the left-click button to break the orb.
After breaking the orb, the Axum Bacterial Culture will start floating in the same place. Approach it and add it to your inventory by pressing the left button. While there aren't many things you can do with the Axum Bacterial Culture in Subnautica 2, you can use it to build Metal Farms, which are highly important Cultivation buildings that each need an Axum Bacterial Culture.
