The release time is listed on SteamDB and has also been shared by the developer's X account, both of which are reliable sources for these details.

The early access release comes after a drawn-out legal dispute between developer Unknown World Entertainment and publisher Krafton. It appears as though, since the studio CEO has been reinstated, Krafton has also been removed as the publisher of the game.

Is Subnautica 2 Early Access Coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2?

Unfortunately, no, Subnautica 2's early access will only be available on PC and Xbox consoles. At the time of writing, there is no confirmation of Subnautica 2 coming to either the PS5 or Nintendo Switch 2.

That being said, given that the original game was released on both Sony and Nintendo's platforms, there's a good chance that it will arrive at some point in the future. In terms of timelines and release dates, though, nothing has been confirmed.
