Let’s be honest. Podracers are what a lot of us have been waiting for. If you’ve ever imagined yourself zipping past Watto, you’re in luck. The official website and trailer confirm that classic Podracers are featured in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. I even spotted one racing through Ando Prime, just like in the original Podracing game back in 1999. Get ready for some serious nostalgia and high-speed action, as we finally get to feel the adrenaline that young Anakin Skywalker felt when all he had in his heart was love and hope, unconsumed by the dark side.
It’s no wonder that we’re all hyped for Podracing. Watching Anakin pull off those wild tricks and jumps always made me wonder what it would be like to handle that kind of speed. Podracers look like absolute beasts, and if you can master the insane power contained in those twin engines, you’ll have a real shot at taking first place. This vehicle might be best suited for experienced racers, though, as using air brakes to stick your landings after big jumps is no joke.
