Splatoon Raiders has many options for players to choose from when it comes to building their character for the endgame. Your tank, gadgets, parts, relics, weapon, and Bot Buddy all play a role in the strength of your character. The Tactical Tank allows for a fun and powerful endgame build in Splatoon Raiders. This guide will go over all the parts that make the build work.
Best Tactical Tank Gadgets

The Tactical Tank allows for some interesting combinations and is great for those who want to creatively use their gadgets. This build uses the following gadgets:
- Tether Wail
- Shot Pot
- Splatellites
Maxing out the Tactical Tank also allows you to equip one Power Gadget. This build takes advantage of that with the Splatellites Gadget instead of a third Tactical Gadget.

The Tether Wail is a stationary gadget that stays on the field. A laser attaches to the player and extends as far as they move. Enemies that touch the laser are damaged and affected by any upgrades added to the gadget.
The most important Gadget Parts are Multi Laser, Reel 'Em In, Ferment, and Duration Up. Multi Laser is fantastic because having five lasers instead of one means the other four also extend, deal damage, and move around when the user does.
Reel 'Em In is the best quality of life upgrade when you have Multi Laser. When you have the 5-star version, Tether Wail has a massive pull that helps keep enemies away from you and makes it easier for them to get hit by the Explosive Finale, which does a ton of damage.
Ferment allows you to do more damage with not only the Tether Wail, but your other gadgets and weapon. Duration Up makes it last longer, which not only makes it easier to use but also lets you have more than one out for a bit.
The remaining Gadget Parts are just bonuses. The extra damage and ink are nice, but you want to make sure you have the 5-star versions of the above upgrades first.
If you don't have enough room to fit everything, either use a lower version of the damage and ink parts, or remove one or more of them.

The Shot Pot is a turret gadget that continually shoots targets when set up. Double Trouble is the best upgrade because it lets you put two Shot Pots out at once.
Blaster is a huge damage increase because even though it shoots a little slower, it does more than double the damage and hits in an area.
Multi Shot makes the Shot Put shoot two shots instead of one, which can greatly increase damage.
This makes the gadget fork its shots, so it can be harder to hit enemies at times.
Range Up, Fire Rate Up, and Shot Damage Up are the next important ones, in that order. You want to increase these as high as you can while still equipping the above Gadget Parts. These provide a massive upgrade to damage output, since they will be able to hit enemies from farther away, shoot faster, and deal more damage with each shot.
Remember to upgrade each Gadget Part you equip to increase the damage to the Shot Pot and lower the slots required to equip them.
The Explosive Placement and Finale Gadget Parts are just a nice bonus. The explosions deal significant extra damage that adds up, but can be cut if you do not have enough slots to use the other upgrades.

Splatellites is a Power Gadget that makes orbs surround you, which damage enemies and ink the ground. This is your main Gadget for survival.
Remember, when you fully upgrade the Tactical Tank, you are allowed to equip one Power Gadget.
Mega Power Egg Collection is the most important Gadget Part. This allows your Splatellites to pick up the Mega Power Eggs for you. In endgame modes, like the Bottomless Buffet, you have a time limit to collect enough Power Eggs. This Gadget Part makes it much easier to collect them, which can save a run.
Duration Up is essential because you want to keep Splatellites up at all times. Longer duration gives you a longer uptime, and you won't need to wait as long between activations.
More Splatellites, Splatellite Area Up, and Orbital Range Up are the next most important. These greatly increase the size, area, and number of Splatellites, which help collect those Mega Power Eggs.
Knockback is helpful for keeping enemies away from you, especially since this is a long-range build.
It can also be used to knock Salmonids into the water, which instantly defeats them.
Scorch deals damage over time and stacks up to level three. This is amazing for additional damage as long as the Splatellites are active.
Splatellite Damage and Add Vertical Damage are bonuses. The extra damage is nice, but the other effects are much more important.
Tactical Tank Relic Powers
When your Tank is fully upgraded, you can use five total Relic Powers:
- Tactical Pro (General Relic)
- Speed Pro (General Relic)
- Power Pro (General Relic)
- Mega Power Egg Collector (General Relic)
- Long Range (Tactical Relic)
Tactical Pro upgrades the Tank Vortex ability when used with the Tactical Tank. Tank Vortex deals damage around you and has a chance to Ferment Salmonids.
Speed Pro and Power Pro give you the Tank Turrent and Tank Surge abilities from the Speed and Power Tanks. Tank Turrent increases both swim and run speed, and blows away Salmonids as it inks the ground. Tank Surge increases all damage by 20% while active.
All tank abilities activate when exiting the swim form after being submerged in ink for a period of time. Just go into ink and wait for the bar to fill up before leaving to get all 3 bonuses.
Mega Power Egg Collector is a literal lifesaver. It makes it easier to pick up Mega Power eggs, and recovers a lot of HP and Ink when you collect them.
Long Range increases the damage to far-off Salmonids. This works well with this build because it affects not only your weapon, but your gadgets as well. Once you set up your gadgets, you can move away from them to get the Long Range bonus. This effect stacks if you also have it on your weapon.
Weapon and Bot Buddy

The best weapon to use in this build is a 5-star Perfume Squelcher. This is a relatively fast-firing weapon and has enough range to get the Long Range bonus. The Perfume variant has a longer range than the others, but any Squelcher will do.
Weapon Powers
- Long Range - Increases damage to far-off Salmonids.
- Freeze - Chance to Freeze Salmonids. Frozen Salmonids can't move.
- Ice Breaker - Frozen Salmonids take extra damage when attacked by weapons. Attacking Frozen Salmonids ends their frozen status.
The extra damage from Long Range, especially when stacked with the Relic Power, significantly increases damage. This is perfect for the Squelcher because it can be used from far enough away.
Freeze and Ice Breaker are the perfect combo because, when maxed out, Ice Breaker does extreme damage to frozen enemies.
Alternatively, since this build applies Ferment and Scorch from Gadgets, Freeze and Ice Breaker can be replaced with Explosive Ferment and Ignite. Explosive Ferment creates an explosion when a Fermented Salmonid is defeated by a weapon. Ignite gives a chance to make Scorched Salmonids erupt in flames and spread Scorch to nearby Salmonids when attacked by weapons.
Bot Buddy
There are two options: Shiver or Big Man.
Shiver is the best for burst damage and taking out hard-to-kill Salmonids. When her Bond is fully leveled, her Showstopper will also Freeze any enemies hit by it.
Big Man is best for overall survivability. At max Bond level, his Showstopper attacks will also Scorch enemies. He is very useful because when using the Showstopper, you won't take damage.
