Each Chair is Packed With Detailed Easter Eggs, But Only True Pokémon Masters Will Catch 'Em All

The designs for each chair in the Secretlab Pokémon Collection are absolutely packed with little Easter eggs eagle-eyed Pokémon will immediately catch. Design-wise, the Gengar chair looks fantastic. The bold black and purple coloring really brings the Ghost/Poison-Type line to life, featuring a bright purple at the base of the seat that bubbles up just like the Toxic move, before fading into the chair's black base with illustrations outlined in purple.

The illustrations are top-notch, textured to give them depth without being too obtrusive to make sitting in the TITAN Evo uncomfortable. Outlining the sides of the chair, you'll find symbols representing the Ghost and Poison typing of the Gengar family's evolution line, as well as images of Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar haunting their way up to the top of the headrest. Centered on the front is a fantastic image of Gengar with his Pokédex number below him, with a larger illustration on the back of Gengar mischievously sticking his tongue out in a perfect mix of Ken Sugimori's original design and Pokémon modern art style.

Secretlab Makes Building Your Chair Effortless & Easy

For anyone apprehensive about assembling a TITAN Evo on their own, rest assured that the process is extremely easy. Perhaps fitting for someone who makes their living writing, I am not what you might call a handy man, but I was able to effortlessly assemble my Gengar TITAN Evo in half an hour with no frustrations or road blocks whatsoever.

The TITAN Evo comes with an Assembly Toolkit, meaning you won't need to hunt down your own tools, and very handy (and very large) instruction sheet that breaks down the assembly process step-by-step in detail. Having a friend to help you and lift some of the heavier parts for screwing certainly helps, but it is by no means difficult or impossible to get through the building process on your own.

Quality Meets Comfort in the Secretlab Pokémon Collection

After suffering through an office chair with no back support that I'd constantly sink into and slide on due to poorly built wheels for years, the Secretlab Pokémon Collection is frankly a revelation and the biggest upgrade my office has gotten in over a decade. The black and purple coloring blends perfectly with my set-up's color palette, and Secretlab's immaculate detailing and texture-work just scream "prestige" – so much so, I feel like I now need a higher quality desk just to match Gengar (preferably in black and purple).
