After reaching the Desecrated Fortress for the first time in Saros, players may come across and open a white container, thinking they will find a weapon or artifact inside, but instead, it contains an Honorarium Sigil. The description of this key item states that it grants access to a sealed chamber, but the game doesn’t mention anything about its location.
Picking up the item also adds an optional objective in the top left corner of the screen that mentions collecting Sigils. This guide goes into detail on where players can find the Sealed Chamber and where these keys can be used in Saros.
Saros: Should You Traverse Nightmare Strand?
Traversing the Nightmare Strand in Saros has its benefits, but is it really worth entering? Here’s everything players need to know about it.
Where to Use Honorarium Sigils (Desecrated Fortress) in Saros
To find the Sealed Chamber, you will need to progress further into the Desecrated Fortress, well past the area where you unlock the new ability of this biome, Eclipse Threads. When you come across a very large room with no enemies inside and possibly red lasers all over the room, you will know you are very close to your objective. Head past this room and drop into the hole up ahead, after which your objective will change.
You will find yourself next to a door, with the objective now having you use the Sigils you have found to open the Honorarium. Once you open the gate, there will be some Lucenite, heals, and potentially a Halcyon waiting for you, but that is not all. Depending on how many Sigils you have gathered during your exploration of the Fortress, you can open additional doors and claim the item at the end.
There are two sets of doors, one of which leads to an Audio Log as well as Integrity and Power Augments, while the other leads to a few containers and other useful items.
If this is your first time visiting the Honorarium, chances are you won’t have the required Sigils needed to open most of the doors. There is no need to worry, as the Honorarium will generate in every cycle, as will the Sigils, so you can explore the biome again at a later time and open the doors leading to the collectibles.
Sigils can usually be found inside white containers on both main and side paths, so exploring everything is recommended. You might come across some yellow barriers leading to side paths as well that cannot be accessed yet, so you can come back to them later.
