How to Get Lucenite Fast in Saros (Farming Tips)

Lucenite, one of the most important resources in Saros, allows you to purchase Armor Matrix upgrades and make Arjun stronger. It's mainly dropped by enemies once you defeat them, but can also be found while exploring different Biomes. The quicker you gather Lucenite, the faster you'll progress through the skill tree and be ready to conquer everything the game throws at you. This guide breaks down the fastest ways to farm Lucenite in Saros and speed up your progression​​​​​​.

Rerun Previous Biomes

There are eight Biomes in Saros, and you'll run through eachas part of the main story. Once you've completed a Biome, you'll be able to revisit it to explore further, finish collecting all resources on the map, and rematch the boss.

Shattered Rise, the first Biome you visit, remains one of the best farming spots since you'll be strong enough to breeze through enemies, especially after you've progressed into the skill tree quite a bit. Enemy levels in earlier Biomes don’t scale with your progression, allowing you to finish a run faster than before.

After unlocking more abilities (equipment) like the grapple, you'll be able to explore hidden areas in a Biome, which will hold even more collectibles and resources, including Lucenite.

Focus on Increasing the 'Drive' Stat

Among the three basic stats in Saros, Drive is primarily focused on enhancing Arjun's ability to get more Lucenite per enemy defeated. This also helps you level up Proficiency faster during runs, allowing you to access higher-level equipment sooner.

There are two primary methods to upgrade the Drive stat in Saros.

• Temporary Upgrades: Players can increase their Drive stats mid-run by collecting artifacts. There are a variety of artifacts that will shape Arjun's build during a run, but the ones that offer a boost to his Drive stat will increase his ability to farm Lucenite and level up Proficiency quicker.
• Permanent Upgrades: You can invest the accumulated Lucenite into upgrading the 'Drive' nodes in the skill tree to permanently boost Arjun's Lucenite collection abilities.

Complete Eclipse Sections of Biomes

Players will encounter an Eclipse gate right in the middle of the first Biome, which will transform the map and change up some gameplay mechanics. While it'll make facing off enemies harder due to their increased aggression and corruption orbs that lower Arjun's max HP, they'll also drop an increased amount of Lucenite when taken out.

Activating and completing Eclipse sections is one of the most lucrative waysto farm Lucenite in Saros. While it's mandatory in the starting Biomes, this mechanic can be skipped a few times in later ones. So make sure you’re choosing to play through Eclipsed sections whenever possible to increase your total yield of Lucenite per run.

Get Lucenite from Aether Orbs at Full Health

Players will encounter various types of Aether Orbs, from large to small, that help restore Arjun's HP after he's taken damage. However, if his HP is full, you'll get Lucenite in exchange for Aether orbs. While the gains aren’t massive with this, they add up over time if you combine it with other tips mentioned in the guide.

Optimize Lucenite Collection Skills

As I've already discussed, one of the primary sources of Lucenite is taking down enemies. However, the Lucenite orbs won't stay on the ground forever and will eventually disappear after some time. Additionally, you'll also lose half (50%) of your Lucenite after a failed run, which will slow you down in terms of progression.

It's recommended to upgrade the Lucenite Extension and Lucenite Saver skills in the skill tree to optimize your Lucenite collection per run. The former skill ensures that the resource stays on the ground for longer, giving you ample time to pick it up after an enemy is defeated. The latter will cut down the Lucenite loss after a failed run, allowing you to progress faster through the tougher Biomes.

Additionally, you can activate the Lucenite Magnetism Carcosan Modifier to increase Arjun's pickup radius of Lucenite orbs. This will come in handy when you encounter a section of the Biome with tons of enemies, and increase the chances of automatically collecting dropped Lucenite while dodging and weaving through enemy projectiles.

Carcosan Modifiers are a special feature in Saros that's unlocked after you've completed the second Biome: Ancient Depths and defeated its boss, Bastion.
