The release schedule for Re:Zero Season 4 has been running smoothly so far. With the spring season progressing steadily, only four episodes remain at this point. Re:Zero Season 4, Episode 7, is set to premiere on Crunchyroll this week, picking up the events after Julius Juukulius experienced his second defeat at the hands of Reid Astrea.

Re:Zero Season 4 is scheduled for 11 episodes in the 2026 spring season. The remaining nine episodes are set to continue airing starting in August as part of the summer season. In total, Re:Zero Season 4 will have 19 episodes, which is fewer compared to previous seasons.

Episode 6 of Re:Zero Season 4 showed Reid Astrea’s combat prowess as the first-ever Sword Saint in history. Emilia, on the other hand, redeemed herself and scored a surprising victory against Reid for Team Subaru. And speaking of Subaru, the otherworlder has yet to fight Reid one on one. Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 7 will arrive on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET/7:00 AM PT.

After the latest episode of Re:Zero Season 4 is released, only four episodes will remain before the series reaches its conclusion. Here are the scheduled release dates for the remaining episodes of Season 4 this spring season:

And speaking of Julius Juukulius, his swordsmanship is inferior to Reid Astrea, based on the outcome of their first and second clash. Even the Heavenly Sword in Julius’s hands cannot rival Reid Astrea’s extraordinary chopsticks in combat. This goes to show how formidable Reid Astrea is, despite his perverted nature and questionable personality.

On the contrary, injuries sustained in battle, such as those Julius received, can be healed in the Green Room.

From the current situation, Episode 7 may feature little to no action scenes due to Julius’ condition. Subaru and the rest of the group also remain uncertain about how to defeat Reid Astrea. However, this could be the ideal moment for Subaru to investigate the opponent more closely on his own.

Moreover, it was also revealed in the synopsis of Episode 7 that Subaru will be meeting and speaking with Eridna for the second time around. If fans can recall, Eridna currently controls Anastasia Hoshin’s body in Re:Zero Season 4. Similar to Subaru, Eridna is searching for a way to return Anastasia’s body through completing the watchtower’s trials.
