Subaru Natsuki continues to experience strange blackouts in Re:Zero Season 4. Shortly after these blackouts, he finds himself surrounded by deceased bodies of witchbeasts, including Meili, whom he seemingly strangled before the previous episode ended. With this ominous development, it’s not an exaggeration to say that Subaru could have been possessed before Emilia and Beatrice found him unconscious in the third floor’s library.

In Re:Zero Season 4, Episode 10, Subaru must urgently piece together what is happening to him while also trying to decipher the chilling message written on his arm. “Subaru was here” likely serves as a hint that something far more disturbing is at play.
