This article was updated by Andrea Trama on April 21, 2026, to let fans know that all the games are available now, and that others have now left the Extra and Premium tiers. It was first published on April 18.

The next big update for the PlayStation Plus subscription service is right here, with new games making their debut on the Extra and Premium tiers and some notable titles making their departure. The monthly update for the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus typically happens around the middle of every month, but subscribers to those tiers also get access to the free games added at the beginning of every month as part of the Essential tier.

The free PS Plus games for April 2026 are available now for subscribers to claim, no matter which tier they're signed up for. The April 2026 free games are headlined by the Soulslike game Lords of the Fallen (2023), joined by Tomb Raider 1-2-3 Remastered, and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. PS Plus subscribers have until Monday, May 4, to snag those games for their digital libraries. Anyone who claims them in time retains access to the games for as long as they are subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

Every New Game Added To PS Plus (June 2026)

New monthly PlayStation Plus games! Sony is always adding goodies to its subscription. The June 2026 PS Plus Essential games have been revealed.

Games available on the Extra and Premium tiers, meanwhile, cycle in and out of availability, similar to Netflix or Xbox Game Pass. In any case, there are seven games available for PS Plus Extra in April 2026 in the form of Football Manager 26 Console, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Monster Train, Squirrel with a Gun, The Casting of Frank Stone, The Crew Motorfest, and Warriors; Abyss. It's worth pointing out that while PS5 gamers get Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, those on PS4 technically get Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition instead.

As far as the Premium tier goes, those signed up for the most expensive version of the service now have access to everything available for the Extra tier, plus Wild Arms 4. Wild Arms 4 is an RPG that was originally released in North America in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. It earned mixed reviews from critics, but since the other Wild Arms games are a part of PS Plus Premium, it's still nice to see it added.

PS Plus Games No Longer Available in April 2026

  • Dave the Diver (PS4/PS5)
  • Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories (PS4)
  • EA Sports PGA Tour (PS5)
  • Lost Records: Bloom & Rage (PS5)
  • Spitlings (PS4)
  • TowerFall Ascension (PS4)

The new games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium are the main reasons why today, April 21, is a busy day for the service, but the day is significant for another reason as well. Today, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are losing Dave the Diver, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, EA Sports PGA Tour, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Spitlings, and TowerFall Ascension. It's especially sad to see critically-acclaimed games like Dave the Diver and TowerFall Ascension get removed, and now they will no longer be available for fans to play.
