Personally, there are a few Dark Souls locations that I think would be amazing as Shifting Earth Events.
Anor Londo: Imagine Sprinting Across Rooftops and through the buildings of Anor Londo, facing the Silver Knights and their irritatingly accurate great arrows, before making it to the boss arena and facing either Ornstein and Smough or Aldritch.
The Bed of Chaos: Okay hear me out here, it's a map area with Quelagg Patrolling around and you take advantage of the much better Platforming in Nightreign to make it into a proper obstacle course, where reaching and destroying all the weak points gets you a permanent buff.
The Ringed City: You enter by racing across that bridge with the ghost archers and taking out their summoner, then delve deeper into the Ringed City to find Filianor, turning the area into an ashen desert with Slave Knight Gael waiting to face you.
Thanks for the heads up. I made a bit of an error there since I haven't done a 100% run in a year or two and I relied a little too heavily on my memory of that run.
I've corrected it to suggest using the two power cells from the Oracle in Volcanic Crater instead.
I rode up to it, Hit it with my fully upgraded Beastclaw Greathammer, did less than 10 damage. Immediately died to the stomp. I decided to grab my runes and go literally anywhere else instead of dealing with it again.
I think the new Omen transformation is really awesome to be honest. I'm glad they're at least trying to fix the "Transformation leaves you without any armor" issue we had in DS1 and especially DS3. In terms of other transformations, I'm quite partial to the Bloodborne DLC Transformations: Beast and Lumenwood.
Lumenwood was the best kind of goofy but dangerous if you equipped the Kos Parasite, and Beast amped up the Beast Claw Weapon while in use.
In terms of the ER DLC though, I'm already scheming up some Omen Build Concepts.

My preferred Starting setup for an Arcane Archer right now is:
Str 8, Dex 16, Con 14
Int 16 Wis 10 Cha 10
Gith as the Race. Folk Hero or Guild Artisan as Background (Or Haunted One if Dirge, naturally)
Grab the Titanstring Bow and Club of Hill Giant's Strength ASAP.

Ravenswatch: How To Unlock Every Character
I'll second that opinion. It also adds replay value, especially if the characters have distinct and interesting playstyles.
