Apparently, there is a bug on some platforms that prevents players from completing this puzzle as intended. Try swapping Switch #3 and Switch #4 in the order above, but if that doesn't work, you may just have to wait for a patch.
chris Update is on the way! Should be published within the next few minutes with this (and other) information I neglected to include in the original guide - I'm sorry if you wasted any time!
I will be revising this guide a fair bit within the next few days based on my own runs since, and requirements (like those you've listed here) that I neglected to mention in the original walkthrough - thank you for pointing these details out, I'm sorry if these issues caused anyone to waste time! As I say, expect to see a major update within the next couple of days to add some more necessary information and alter the route itself.
As much as I feel like I *should* learn how to use the Hunter's crest more effectively, the downward slash, rapid attack speed, and potential for crits make the Wanderers crest so reliable.
So, I still had the Magma Bell equipped for some reason, and I believe that's what that icon is (though not 100% sure - it shares the same flame symbol as the Magma Bell icon itself).
I do also have the Warding Bell equipped, which helps prevent taking damage while binding. That's what the red light around Hornet is when you see her heal in the video :)
Happy to help! There is plenty to do outside of my suggestions, too - there's nothing wrong with just exploring on your own a bit to see what you can find!
Every time I fight the Fissure in the Fog I am amazed at how cinematic some of those arena-wide attacks are. The move where the ceiling drops on you sticks in my mind
Yeah five for each class doesn't seem like enough. I bet the DLC will add a couple more for everyone - hopefully a Souls one and maybe an Elden Ring-inspired one. I could see Wylder wearing the Raging Wolf armor set, for example.
Interesting, when I completed the Gaol myself I fought Placidusax (with a different name) using a golden beam breath attack that looked exactly like Placidusax' Ruin, and now I am seeing others have fought an Ancient Dragon there and other bosses. I've updated the information in the piece to be more accurate - thank you!
It's definitely significantly more difficult solo, but not impossible. You will have a hard time against bosses designed for multiplayer (like the first Nightlord), but I've talked to plenty of people who have successfully beat every boss on their own, so you'll be in for a challenge but it can be overcome if you really get into the groove of things.
I absolutely loved DOOM 2016, Eternal was a bit overwhelming for me, and The Dark Ages feels great but I miss the more claustrophobic, mazelike levels over the open world. They arent bad, but it feels a bit off for DOOM. The next game should take the gunplay and mechanics of Dark Ages and fuse it with the level design of 2016 imo.
Ive seen some ideas out there that the next game should be a prequel to the entire DOOM series, where we play as the slayer when he was a marine who decided not to fire on innocents, gets sent to mars, and over the course of the game he gradually becomes a natural force of brutality. Not sure how that would conflict with the new lore, though.
Assuming you're talking about the new armor/weapon quests, we are working on them as I write this! As soon as we discover the associated quests we will have coverage up - stay tuned!

Unless you have a serious glitch in your game, the price of all Dark Souls skins should be 7500 murk, not 75000 murk.
