The dates that have been coalescing for the bombs dropping are obviously in the future because the bombs haven't dropped yet. We're probably in 2065, but it must be earlier than the date in March that was given. That's what I meant. So we're likely in 2065, but in the first scene of the pilot episode, we saw the bombs drop while Cooper and Janey were together at a birthday party and she was about the same age as we've seen her. 2077 would be 12 years later. She would probably be about 20.
I reckon that the scene we saw in the pilot is not what actually happened, but what might have happened in a different timeline before it began to be disrupted. I think we will find that whatever is happening will resolve with the war being pushed back by 12 years. Notice that we were not shown the occupants of Barb and Janey's cryopods. That may be telling. I have a theory which I will not share, because if I'm right then it's a serious spoiler.
