The company has always said it's not bg3. There is no tav, it's four customizable characters with home brew rules and different subclasses.

That being said. I've been a participant in every twitch stream, and have poured hundreds of hours into solasta one. It's not bg3, I've played thousands of hours of bg3. It's like a nice compliment to it. Solasta twos Dev team is a team of fourty people. There's definitely not the same amount of money that went into bg3, but it is very very fun. The demo is great. It's a good comparison if you look at the tactical adventure only. The ttrpg part only.

Bg3 is very story heavy and solasta is more tactical focused.

My double wizard run was one of my fave runs. Mind you, we multiclass. Wizard (abjuration) cleric Tempest with a lil sorcnwas unstoppable. Taking a dip in wizard and getting that intellect headband is an easy way to learn spells for bard or sorc. I think my wildest playthrough has been a warlock (hex blade) wizard. I'm surprised to read an article like this. Mind you, when one puts in nearly 4000 hours ... All combos are tested.

My favorite monoclss though is open hand monk. It really shines midway through act two.

It's my fave place to go because it's the most rewarding fight if you choose to fight everyone at the end of the creche storyline. It's a great way to practice AOE tactics or sneaking. Highly recommend. It's where I go to test out different builds and strats

I JUST finally did a good run romancing laezel and I had been avoiding it for so long. Ended up asking her to stay in faerun. And.... My dude.... It was just as good if not better "satisfaction wise" to see it through to the end and teach her about not just love but self love. Ugh. All stories here are so good.
