See AllSea of Thieves is Getting One of Its Biggest Updates in Years on June 18
I've been on hiatus from the game for a while because I'm a 100% solo player and got sick of being constantly attacked within the first 20 minutes of gameplay by ships of 3-4 people at a time. Thing is though, I do like fights with other players but wish that instead of getting to play without them I would rather they group similar player types together. Arc Raiders does this really well, as it mostly pits you against other solos if you are solo, 2v2, 3v3, and so on. So will this be enough to keep me playing? Maybe but we'll see. At least it's a step in the right direction.
"This is Not God of War" Original Creator Criticizes God of War Laufey
I'm sick of hearing people like Jaffe constantly bashing everything that comes out, but in this case, he says a few things I agree with. I initially thought when I heard the rumors that playing as Faye would be really cool, especially a prequel leading up to her fight with Thor maybe, but the trailer was completely bizarre. The idea of an afterlife for Gods was interesting, but with all the world mythologies they could have drawn from the choice for sidekicks was a talking sword and a talking cube? Really? You have to wonder what kind of ideas were left on the cutting room floor. I've bought every GOW game on launch day, and I will be skipping this one. I just can't get over the stupidity of it all.
PS Plus Monthly Games for June 2026 Wish List
Lies of P was already a PS essential a few months back. I know because I bought a physical copy off of Amazon at release. When Overture came out, after purchasing it from the PS US store, I couldn't play it because my copy was EU even though I bought it in America (learn something new every day). I then purchased the game again digitally from the US PS store, only for it to be one of the essential games a month later. So I bought the game twice, then got it with the subscription for a 3rd time a month later. No regrets though, it's one of my favorite games ever. Robocop was also an essential game.

Returnal is one of my favorite games of all time. Sign me up.
10 Most Jaw-Droppingly Epic Boss Encounters Of All Time, Ranked
Senator Armstrong was definitely my favorite. Also Laxasia from Lies of P, and for Returnal Ixiom had my adrenaline so jacked that I was having heart palpitations, which I probably should have stopped playing since I have a heart condition, but I just couldn't because it was so amazing. Shepherd from Saros was pretty mind blowing as well.
PS5 Exclusive Saros Has Reportedly Only Sold 300K Copies
Guys, if you're on the fence, Saros is 100% worth your time. Returnal had a pretty difficult learning curve, but once you get past it, it is one of the most amazing games you will ever play. In Saros they have different options to tailor the difficulty so there is no excuse not to play it. The other complaint I keep hearing is that "it's woke," because you play as a brown man (who is an amazing actor), which is completely ridiculous. I've already beat it with both endings and still keep coming back. It's an incredible game and Housemarque needs to be protected at all costs.
