When you first arrive in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen's Celadon City, the location of the fourth official Gym Leader, Erika, there's a lot to see and do. You can go shopping in the multi-tiered department store, check out the various homes and businesses, and last but not least, gamble in the Celadon Game Corner to earn yourself some coins and special prizes.

However, once you get to the Game Corner and start speaking to the attendants and patrons, you will quickly realize that you won't be able to play a game until you find a Coin Case, which is a key item that holds up to 9,999 coins. If you have no clue where to get one, this guide will help you out.

Here are all the differences that you need to know about Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen.

How to Get a Coin Case in FRLG

Luckily, you won't have to go very far from the Game Corner to actually find the Coin Case. As soon as you exit the building, you'll see a row of homes to the south (three of which have doors you can enter). Go to the left-most one to find a restaurant/bar.

Speak to the man sitting by himself in the back left corner, and he will complain that he lost all his money in the Game Corner, so he ends up handing his Coin Case to you for no charge at all.

Now, with the Coin Case in hand, you can head back into the Game Corner and try your luck with the slot machines. Once you rack up enough coins, you can head into the building next door to turn them in for various prizes like TMs, special items, and actual Pokemon, like Dratini and Abra.
